Lyon County Commissioners send a fatass and a fireman to the East coast

Local officials have been sent to Baltimore, Md., to help with the disaster coordination efforts with Sandy possibly bringing hurricane force winds, heavy rain and an 11-foot storm surge to coastal areas from Virginia to New Jersey -- along with blizzard conditions inland. Lyon County Emergency Management Coordinator Rick Frevert, dispatched along with Emporia Fire Chief Jack Taylor, says it's a different situation from when he was dispatched to help after Hurricane Katrina because he was dispatched well after Katrina made landfall in 2005

Did the county commissioners (tax Payers of Lyon county) have to send them in first class or did they have to pay for 3 seats because of prevert's FAT ASS. He will be in the way of others wanting to do work there, sitting on his fat ass eatin, what a waste of taxpayers money, lyon county rated 104 in 105 counties in kansas for being the poorest

you would, first class seats are usually a little bigger to commadate his fat ass. also dummy, first class usually costs more, (Tax Payer Money), but hell its only tax money, guess you dont give a $hit. you probably dont pay any tax any way, oh sorry, you are one of those who pay grocery, booze, cigarette, condom, taxes, but no working tax.

<snicker> Some people are too easy to mess with and it's almost no fun..........almost. ;-) It's always fun to see a person make a fool of themselves when they just keep talking, and one strategic question can induce a LOT of talking.:-D
I only hope that our employees (and as REWBA said, of course it's taxpayer funded when they are tax-paid employees on a county-commissioned assignment) were/are able to offer tangible help. Ly. Co. might be one of the poorest counties in the state, but the state of Kansas is not one of the 10 poorest states in the country, whereas West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee and North Carolina already were even before being hit by Sandy. So no matter how poor LY Co. may be by comparison within the state, we are clearly better off than counties in those states. In fact, we are now better off than counties and states that weren't in the bottom 10 in the country prior to Sandy, but now likely are. If we can make direct donations of personnel or goods, the faster they get help and the less taxing the Federal govt. has to do to be able to give them assistance. Now, what Frevert's weight or the spelling of his last name has to do with any of this is beyond me, other than it provided a chance for the person behind the name "Andy" to reveal their lack of character, compassion and intelligence.
