Pennsylvania people don't know how a real hoagie is made. An italian hoagie is not made with 4 thick slices of HAM and salami with brown lettuce and green tomatoes like Wawa and many other places.

A real italian is made with Prosciutto, Genoa Salami,Capacola with provolone. Topped with onions, pickles, red ripe tomatoes, romain lettuce and plenty of oregano.

Really? http://www.pasqualinas.biz/pimd_menu.html

Thanks to the other poster for putting out their name. I've eaten their sandwiches a few times and they are simply delicious. All imported Italian meats.

Wawa is fast food, nothing more. No quality there. Even the local pizza shops make a better hoagie.

Fino's in Trumbauersville makes a very good hoagie in my opinion but everyone's taste is different.

Actually the Hoagie originated in Phila. Pa. by the workers of Hoag Island on the Delaware River. They would bring a big sandwich to get them thru the day working the shipyard.Fresh ingredients were readily available in the Italian Market.

Try DiNunzio's in the Q mart. They make a real Italian hoagie. The aged provolone they use is great. Tasty deli meats. Ten steps above wawa. The only thing that sucks is that it is not open now.
Like Fiesta Habiniero, awesome local quisine.......

Must be the owner because no one else would compliment that fake deli meat served in a run down filthy shack.
