what was the cause of the fire? Prob some dumbass did something stupid. They are hiring everyone. There own fault. If people were smart enough they wouldn't of let it get to a 2 alarm fire.

you evidently dont understand the nature of a fire..large buildings get out of control very quickly, also, just as a precaution to those brave firefighters who were called out, the extra manpower is for their safety

People....whether we like Amazon or not....we need to be thank for that all the employees got out of the building unharmed......whether or not it was a minor fire, or a 2 alarm was called for means nothing, all the 2nd alarm means that more help was needed to extinguish what the problem was....I am a local firefighter and have already seen a family lose the ENTIRE home due a fire last week.....they now have NOTHING but themselves and are rebuilding...and by the way, those buildings are 4 cememt walls, and when a fire starts in them, it a large oven, so even the smallest of fire can spread rapidly.....THANKS TO ALL THE ON-SCENE FIREFIGHTERS THAT LEFT THEIR WARM BEDS AT 3AM AND PUT THE FIRE OUT AND THEN HAD TO GO TO THEIR PAYING JOB AFTERWHICH....some people dont understand what a VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTER does for absolutely NO PAY !!!!!!

ok i do work there and i was there when it happened. it was a minor fire. they only called it a 2nd alarm because of the side of the building. there was a lot of smoke in the building and they needed the help to vent it all out. Also we all did not run out because you are suppose to walk. and we all did make it out just fine. and we will be back to work tonight

I hope everyone got out ok and no firemen were hurt. I have to say I just order something last evening from Amazon, Gee I wonder if it will come now. Just my luck, but hey I can deal with it. I am glad no reports of injuries

I have to agree with you these firefighters that have to get up in the middle of the night and then go to there jobs in the morning go without sleep alot of time. I should know my husband is a firefigher and a darn good one. Bless then for what they do.

i work there also ,and they dont have alot of fire alarms pulled some because stupid ppl try to steal from them, and we do not run everyone makes it outside safely, however we have to stand outside for sometimes 2 hrs till they take a head count we do this in the freezing cold, but thankfully no one was injured

i think the fire started from the friction of the temp's feet walking 12 miles a day....all temps and the do not hire anyone full time..right now they are making them work 11 hrs.per day..but they do get time and a half after 8 hours worked..they use them up and will be getting rid of them in a week or two......then what do they do.

What is wrong with you people? So many people are out of work and Amazon is providing great jobs. Even if they are only temp people are getting a pay check when they weren't before.
I am thankful no one was hurt.
