If you do a job that doesn't require any skills why should you get all those things?
They are paying them nothing now. Most are part-time and are paid 10 an hour, now.

So only "learned professionals" deserve to make a living wage? Hard work, dedication, years of service mean nothing? Your attitude is exactly what's wrong with this country! Not everyone can be a professional or wants to be, they deserve to live in poverty no matter how hard they work?
I'm what's wrong with this country? I don't have a college degree but I learned a specialized trade that took a 4 year apprenticeship and takes skills to do.

You don't have to be a professional to advance your skill set. The problem with this country is the people who do the bare minimum and have no drive to better themselves. People who just put in the hours are not doing much for themselves.

I worked unskilled jobs in my teens and early 20s but learned that type of work will not get me anything in life. If you want to live in an tiny apartment eating ramen noodles and living pay check to pay check then that is your business.

Who started the BS now? You need to get a life or a hobby. Yeah I know you'll change your moniker and keep it up like the adolescent you are.

I don't change my moniker like some people do around here.

Source? This would need approval from the School Board and would have made the papers by now if it were discussed at a School Board meeting.
This is the second thread started on this subject.
I suspect it's all BS.
Not a quote, I have a parent losing their job to this.... it sucks. She got a letter and then saw it in the job ads( I think Penny Power) looking for outsourcing bids. Pretty crappy, got notice right before Christmas.

Substitute teacher/class aides get $8 an hour. Any lower and it would be minimum wage in PA.

They will do as they please about this. But what we cant let happen is giving them a pink slip without some type of severace pay, like a year worth of pay and medical coverage to give them a chance to find other jobs. They won't be able to all find jobs.
And if they are close to retirement, should be able to take early retirement with full retirement rules then.

This needs to be stopped! Period.

I told you that sequester would kill jobs! It will also remove tuesday from the calendar and shorten each day by 1 hour and twelve minutes... No more sunshine either.

Hey, Dr. Andrejko & Co. are worth every penny of what we miserly taxpayers pay them. We should double their salaries immediately to prevent them from taking their scarce educational talent elsewhere.

Well. It's a heartless town. If this town let's a school principal repeatedly rape a girl in her formative years and write it off as lesbians being lesbians then they certainly won't care about cutting custodial and cafeteria positions. Until there is a sea change at the upper levels this will continue. Essentially this town gets exactly what it deserves

Oh here with go with shit again. The only lesbian principal at the HS was Anita Serge. Countless times you were asked for a name on that other "hit" thread you started and you would always dodge the question. Why was that?

Maybe because you manufactured a lie and by putting her name to it, she'd have reason to sue you for libel?

I think I'm not only warm, but red hot now. This smelled like dead fish the first time I read it.

An issue this egregious would have made the papers and she would have been fired long ago...if it had any teeth, which I highly doubt it does; or maybe in your fantasy world.

Sounds more like a personal beef or even vendetta going on here.

There is no reason why the current custodial and lunch staff of QCSD could not apply and be hired by whichever company is hired by the district to provide the services. Obviously, if they receive the contract, they will need to fill the positions.

P.S. most of the jobs are part-time without benefits anyway. Perhaps the new company might offer full-time opportunities?

Right...they "let her repeatedly rape a girl", and then, according to you, moved her to the elementary school to minimize the damage. Does that make any sense? Stop it already.

Your other thread(s) on this topic died on the vine...do you have to hijack another one to get your name in lights again? If you know of a crime then call the State Police. The only law enforcers on TOPIX are the spelling police.
