Just let your schools go down the tube. Then your home value will decrease and you'll just love your new neighbors!

If PP&L has increased for you and gas has increased for you, doesn't it stand to reason that it has gone up for the EPSD moron?

Home value is irrelevant if one cannot pay their taxes.

Another teacher moron, Bergy?

I really understand what you are saying. But I am assuming (I know I shouldn't do that) that you cannot also pay your electric bill, car insurance, increased food prioces, PPL electric increase of 30%, increased car repairs, medical expenses, tv cable rates, reastaurant prices (if you go out to eat), and gasoline prices that have soared from 2.85 to 3.35. That is an increase of 50 cents a gallon in a very short time. So if you buy 40 gallons of gas a month at the increase of 50 cents that would cost an additional $240. I understand your concern about increase in taxes but there are other reasons it may be hard to pay your taxes. I wouldn't have responded except for your last statement. It is always the teachers fault. Amazing!!!

I wish. I had to work the last two days. No, my kids had great teachers in Emmaus. Great. They went to college and have good jobs. You can't go anywhere longterm without a college education. You get stalled. Good schools are a blessing to a community. You wouldn't know that unless you lived someone else.

John's provided some pretty thoughtful analysis. Some of these other posts are off the cuff emotional ranting. I say we raise taxes a little more. We REALLY need full day kindergarten, the most important grade in school. Respect public employees, who work hard to make our community a wonderful place to live.
