I had a bad experience with Advanta Dental. I was seen on a walk-in basis for a toothache and was given x-rays. My first impression was that this is a state-of-the-art facility, indeed it is. The receptionist, Anna, did not give a good impression. She seems overly concerned with my annual insurance coverage, and how "inadequate" it was, how much would be out of pocket for me. I just thought she cared more about how much money would be coming into the practice instead of caring for me and my dental concerns. Turns out they said I needed four root canals and a possible extraction! I thought this was ludicrous. All this in the matter of 20 minutes! And they gave me nothing for the pain, just a giant estimate of what it would all cost. Razavi herself seemed to be out of sorts that day, she had huge bags under her eyes, I didn't know if that was normal for her or lack of sleep. Regardless, I got a second opinion and it turns out I only had one cavity! I was livid. This office is a rip-off!!
