'Up' and away to Angel Falls

It's not a coincidence that Karen Angel will give a talk about Angel Falls, the world's tallest waterfall, and the exploration of the ancient sandstone tabletop mountains known as Tepuis in southeastern Venezuela.

The name of the falls should return to the indigenous name: Parakupa-vena or Kerepakupai merú.

I have been to Canaima in the Angel Falls area twice and can say it is one of my most treasured places on earth.
Its beauty and isolation is unique to any place I have travelled to.
To walk thru the jungle to the base of Angel Falls and to look up at its majestic cascade is awesome!
I am looking forward to seeing "Up"
