This is sad. This couple should be given a second chance with their dog. They showed courage in taking the dog from the animal shelter. The authorities are too unforgiving in most cases with animals. We should all stand up for these people and their dog.

don't know any details, but handlers can be taught a couple things if they own a hard dog. Always on leash; secure back yard; make certain he can't run out of the house (through screen door, etc.)

Totally stupid to kill a dog if it has good handlers.

Also, if a handler has a hard dog, but he needs good exercise but the handler doesn't jog, a 'springer' SECURELY attached to a mtn. bike works well. Dog is attached to the springer which is attached to the down tube on the bike.

Gets him tired after a few miles and no stress on the handler. Handler has to have enough sense to know how to ride a bike, though.

If the dogs that Michael Vick brutally used for fighting can be rehabilitated via specific-breed rescue groups, maybe this dog could be too. Instead of killing the dog, the owners would have to relinquish the dog to the rescue and the dog would be worked with and provided with better handlers.

Well now those two motel living trailer trash dog owners are in jail and their vicious mutt is on the way to extermination row again! No sympathy for those c***suckers or the freaking mongrel at all! Breaking into any private property is a felony and they need to pay the price for their criminal behavior as well as their freaking stupidity! If you want to have one of those mutts you have an absolute responsibility to keep it from hurting (and possibly killing!) other human beings and animals. Most people who have those critters just do so because they want a dangerous "bad ass" dog just like other morons want the most powerful guns in town. No surprise that this breed is the favorite of ghetto garbage punks and punks and thugs as well as white trailer trash. Sayonara bad ass won't be biting anybody else! Enjoy your time in jail trailer trash! Don't bend over when you drop the soap dude!
right, pick on poor people that have next to nothing.
