City seeks sign restrictions

Belmont city staff has been tinkering with its sign ordinance for months and will ask its City Council to pass an urgency ordinance tonight to impose a moratorium on new billboard structures.

The real problem is the millions of traffic signs. Seems that every geezer that whines gets a sign erected.

How about this one:'no vehicles over 6 feet' can park on a side street (next to safeway store).

If the old timers would take the bus all would be better.
