We are doomed in NC.
Too many people that don't care about our environment or human health are in charge of our environmental issues in this state.
Doomed. These times will be considered irreversible. There will be future excuses, guaranteed.

They are required by state law to report a spill, to the media, within 48 hours. 48 hours? Why not immediately? This seems completely irresponsible even negligent if some kids were swimming downstream all weekend without their families/community being alerted. Who writes these laws? This is ridiculous. We live in a society that is more concerned about whether or not two fags can get "married" or if every American should have access to health care than regulating industries that can poison us all or at the very least poison our water ways, air, land and even the rain. We are doomed if every election hinges on this trivial bs while corporations rape and pillage our land while we are all caught up in the latest divisive issue they can scheme up.
