Man dies after Tasering in Melrose Park sting

An autopsy is planned Friday on a man who died after Cook County sheriff's police used a Taser on him.

According to the Tribune, the suspect did not react when tasered but began "spitting up pieces of crack cocaine" when he was later tackled by police. See the article:

This suggests the suspect did not die from the taser, but from crack cocaine poisoning. Toxicology results are pending.

It sounds like another big lawsuit due to police brutality. The police were too weak and out of shape and had to use the dangerous Tazer on the poor druggie. A death sentence and tax payers will have to pay for more village employee incompetene.
