I see no excuse for school closings the past couple of days. I went shopping yesterday, Thursday, most roads were only slightly icey and interstates were dry. Kids waiting for the school bus out in the cold? Bull!! Most sit in a warm car at end of driveway, what about us as kids, we walked a mile to school, and I am not lying. The only times we had school closed was if there was heavy snowfall. We walked to school because those days cars wouldn't start as easy as they do now. And especially no excuse for the larger towns having schools closed. Make the kids go to school until late June to make up for it.
