Minnesota Soldier Killed in Iraq

A 24-year-old soldier from Jordan was killed when an improvised explosive device exploded near his vehicle in Iraq earlier this week.

There will be a special reward in heaven for him...an eternal reward. But in the meantime, we suffer the loss of not having him here with us. I'll never get a chance to meet him. I'm sorry for that.

I am very proud that we live in a country where people love others so much that they are compelled to serve. I want to say to all the families that every time I hear that another soldier has made the ultimate sacrifice that I do not take it for granted. I am blessed for living here today. Thank You

Josh was my neighbor and close friend. I would have to say this is the most upsetting news i could find out.... We both thought about going back to ft. stewart and talking about this whole experience. Josh you were a hell of a father soldier, husband, son, and friend.
