If the state of Connecticut wouldn't mind, may I hold the key this time. I assure you he will not be making one hour walks around town regardless of how many quack doctors think he "looks good.

Put his butt on lithium, lock him in a 6x6 cell with "Bubba", give him a toothbrush, haircomb, bottle of mouthwash, a tub of vaseline, and leave his mangly @ss in there!

At least he left Middletown. It was a good thing that State employee left the keys in the van.

the idiots who let him out should pay the damages - not the tax payers. then they should be fired or demoted.

I hope he goes to Simsbury in a bear costume the next time he escapes. Yes, there will be a next time.

The end.

Maybe if they did drug testing on a routine basis this wouldn't happen.
Unfortunately, I happen to know a current employee that is a crack head and has been for years!

Hey! At least he didn't kill anyone.

Just a suggestion to CVH folks involved in his care. Perhaps you can integrate a plan for him to promise that he will never do this again. That will remedy the problem. Must I do all your work!!!????

Let's see... he's a career criminal, has escaped how many times, stole a van, found his way to Maine and back? He's not mentally deficient. He belongs in prison, not CVH.

Someone with a history like this man should be locked in a prison or put down. Don' t we learn from the past?

The Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services are trying to stop Sastrom from being arrested for the escape from the hospital. They want to discharge him and be rid of him. Imagine that, not wanting to make him responsable for his criminal actions. I feel comfortable now. If you feel the same e-mail the governor.
