they had a case but it was boggled from the start there was only two witness against a dead person . so he looses and so do we and no justice both were drinking both were drunk and driving way to fast , my son was walking and who says he was in the south bound lane ??/the two who hit him . would you reveal any thing other if it were you , he cant speak no more so take the word of a drunk driver .and get free of all charges . driving under the influence is deadly because this incedent shows that if jill Ihle was paying attention to the road she could have seen a person even if he was in the middle of the road but bad judgment on her part is why my son is laying under the ground . and no one can say other wise oh thery can but way down deep they know the truth .

To the living, I am gone,
To the sorrowful, I will never return,
To the angry, I was cheated,
But to the happy, I am at peace,
And to the faithful, I have never left.
I cannot speak, but I can listen.
I cannot be seen, but I can be heard.
So as you stand upon a shore gazing at a beautiful sea--
As you look upon a flower and admire it's simplicity--
Remember Me.
Remember me in your heart.
Your thoughts, and your memories,
Of the times we loved,
The times we cried,
The times we fought,
The times we laughed.
For if you always think of me,
I will never have gone

Stop stealing ladders you trash.

HANCOCK, Maine — A Steuben man is facing multiple charges after he tried to steal a ladder that belongs to a Hancock County deputy sheriff and then punched the deputy in the face, according to police.

The deputy, Corey Bagley, suffered only minor injuries in the altercation and did not require medical treatment, according to Chief Deputy Richard Bishop of the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department.

Arrested in the incident was Arthur Smith Sr. on charges of assault and theft, according to police. Smith was booked into the Hancock County Jail around 3:15 p.m. on unsecured bail and since has been released on bail, according to a corrections officer at the jail.

Attempts on Wednesday afternoon to contact the arresting officer in the case, Maine State Police Trooper David Barnard, were unsuccessful.

According to Bishop, the incident occurred around noon Wednesday after Bagley, who was off duty, left a lawn mower trailer by the side of Route 1. While towing the trailer, Bagley had noticed that part of the undercarriage of his truck had come loose and was hanging down. He decided, for safety reasons, to leave the trailer where it was, take the truck to a nearby repair shop and then return for the trailer with another vehicle.

When Bagley returned, he saw Smith and another man allegedly removing a ladder from the trailer and putting it in the back of their truck, according to Bishop. Bagley approached the men and told them to stop, at which point he allegedly was assaulted by Smith.

Great family legacy btw. Killed while walking drunk in middle of road. Arrested for stealing a ladder from a disabled vehicle. KYS for the sake of humanity.

To the living, I am gone,
To the sorrowful, I will never return,
To the Smiths, Good Riddance.
