The Dizzy's at Hunter? A really nice sports bar would be great as long as they could keep it that way clean and not filthy. A strip club no way alot of people around here can't pay their bills now what would be like if they were spending it on that shit.

I really don't see the difference than givvin a gal the money and alot of other kinda cash deals done in the area. And there sure ain't no difference in spendin it there and a sports bar with multiple pool tables n such. Or that skank a$$ Shy hole Dew Drop Inn.

Got a pard in Stl with lots of experience in the biz and knows some girls wanting to get outta the city he likes the local and the size of the building. He just thnks the sports bar pool hall side will draw more than just the stripper scene. And the Gentelman clubs side will keep the buisness afloat.

How about a dance hall for the whole community.

No drinking allowed,just a lot of fun for everyone.

Do an old fashion sock hop one time, than do a
hard rock theme for the younger group.

Or maybe a skating ring for everyone.

The dance hall for everyone sounds like a wonderful idea. I love to dance and listen to great music, but can't stand the smoke and the cursing that goes on in most clubs.

Only problem with that is the place has to make money to keep the doors open. And I'm just afraid that would not even keep the electric on let alone make all the other bills

Well, about the smoke and cursing,you are going to get that at every place you go now a days.
The smoking,all a person has to do is put signs up
that says there is no smoking inside.

I even think a bowling ally would go over pretty
good.We have to go to Piedmont or Poplar Bluff to do that,so why not start one in our own town.

A massage parlor would be nice but the workers from this area would need training in how not to give it away for free. So maybe a non-denominational church community center. To pay for it we could just raise the county sales tax.

it would be nice to have Something there to do. But to generate revenue enuf to keep it open would be something. Generational issues will come into place; try finding something to get all ages to enjoy. Idk what would be nice cuz if i knewi would have opened something by now. Lol

i dont own it. I was just saying that if i knew what would do well and be nice for Everyone, i would have tried to open something. Theres nothing in the bluff either. =/ End up going to st louis to do things.

That's all we need it another place for partying... I don't think so. There enough places around here to do that. I know owns it and they will never put something like that there so you can just forget about that. Now something that is family orriented with no smoking and no alchol is what we need.

I think that 'old' Dizzy's would be a great place to have a 'NEW' community center since the old one is soooooo falling apart and stinky.This new community center could include a large skating rink with arcade games, batting cages, bumper cars and a multitude of other things for the kids and young folks to entertain themselves since there really isn't anything around here for them to do.There are places like this in Ill. and I guarantee you that it brings in plenty of $$revenue and it helps keep our kids here and in a safer environment than running around a getting in trouble because they have nothing better to do.

I'm confused do the original owners not own it anymore? It was a bar so a party place is exactly what they had there. But yea people have been askin and rumor is a buyer is lookin just hasn't approached the owners yet.
But if something opens there granpa may go but I doubt he takes gramms.
