dude! you need to apologize to that group of people you pull the gun on out in the woods during the weekend. You already told them once to get on down the trail on thier four wheeler nevertheless when they got on the property that they are leaseing, you chased them down in your vehicle and pulled a gun out on them. thats crazy dude and wasn't called for. especially when ladies and children was present. Your not suppost to have a gun on hand while bow hunting. you can get into serious trouble for that. anyway if you gave them premission to used that road to get to the property they leased ,then why act like you did. mainly when thats only way to get to that property. dude you really need to apologize!

1. The person that told you the story is a liar. They do not have permission to travel that road and they do NOT lease property there. That is a well known by everyone FACT.

2. The women escalated the situation with her big mouth with 5 people behind her. 6 against 2 with an escalating situation......hmmmmmm. Appears the individual de-escalated the situation.

3. Do NOT trespass on private property because you are afraid of getting a DUI by traveling on the gravel.

Remember - alcohol, drugs and a big mouth is going to be trouble no matter where you are.

They will have to find an alternative route. Traveling through that property is not authorized now and will not be. When you ride 4 wheelers directly under a bowhunter's stand, you can pretty well expect him to say something. Especially when the bowhunter has permission to be there and you do not.

This subject needs to be dropped immediately by all parties involved for the sake of all parties involved. There is no reason to escalate it further. Just let it go and find some other type of entertainment to occupy your time.

my friend don't lie, apparently your the liar. you just feel an inch tall from being stupid. even if a female mouth was running, are you that afraid to pull a gun on them. 2 wemon, 2 men and rest are little kids. that don't sound like a big odds to me (2 men against 2 men). from what I understand the land your hunting on isn't yours so the rightful owner has the call on using the road to there leased land. as far as you chaseing them down in the vehicle after you told them to leave. what was the call for that?

I was not there and was not involved.

The rightful owners are not giving permission for four-wheeler traffic. Just ask them, they will tell you just as they tell everyone else.

Just like everyone else, I have also hunted here all my life. I know who all the parties involved are. ALL the men involved are good people.

I also know who owns the land all the way down the Tram Road. All of Suttons land is land-locked back there and you have to trespass over someone to get to it. Get a current Platte Map, I did. Too date, only the man and boy who were there have permission. Leo Drey (Pioneer National Forest) can be accessed from County Gravel as we all know.

If you call Bob Jr., he will tell you that none of the land back there is leased. They will not lease land to anyone under the guidance of their trust lawyer due to liability issues.

The man heard the four-wheelers which drove 8 feet from the bottom of his Sons stand. He then heard the argument between his Son and the four-wheeler people. He went over there to support his Son. I heard the men on the four-wheelers were calm and respectful who have known this man their whole life’s. They even tried to get the women to leave several times. The women went up on the man with their fingers in his face. He did not want the situation to get worse. The women could have shown more refrain and helped everything to remain more calm.

Bottom-line is that the four-wheelers should not have been there because they do not have permission from the rightful owners and the man and boy do.

Again, this is stories from both sides that I have heard and I was not there. I am a neutral party and see how both sides could have acted better. It happened and it's over without serious incident which is a good thing.

I suppose this could be a listen for us all in honesty and respect.

let me tell you something! during the summer, I rode with the group that had the gun pulled out on. we was back there in the same location. pete's son told us that we could ride back their but under one condition, don't litter. as far as the lease deal, yes they do and I have seen the reciet of them paying it. personally pete didn't have no rights to make them leave the property of what they were leaseing nor pull a gun out on them.
