Not really debating where you live. That has little if anything to do with the IP address being represented by your machine.

As far as Leerjack, sure they're open late. If I need something in a hurry then I have little choice and it's nice to have something 24 hours. But if time is on my side then I have no use for that place except for gas. The Store charges me about 10%- 25% more for my preferred tobacco products than my normal place in Poplar Bluff. But Leerjack was over 110% above my normal cost. Everything in the store seems the same way except the coffee.

So for gas and coffee, yeah I'll swing by if it's late. But it's a mini truck stop so it's going to be unreasonable for regular use.

Your phone is why I used the word machine instead of PC, laptop, tablet or anything else. Maybe I should have said device.

the gas prices are jumping so much that i cant keep up, the first day open cash price was 3.06 and credit was 3.09 then the next day cash 3.09 credit 3.14, day 3 was cash 3.12 credit 3.16...... so as long as that is going on my gas will be bought anywhere else. how does the difference in cash and credit gas prices go from .03-.05 cents. he has to at least get that under control either 3 or 4 or 5 cents just dont make since. if we all remember correctly bob and marlyn bounce around on their gas prices and said they was not there for the local but for the truck drivers and travelers. hope this isnt a sign of the same type of business.
I agree with you. I wonder if these new owner isn't related to Bob and Marlyn. I do get sick of the price differents. I only been in the store once to check it out. its a very nice store, but the prices is aweful. I sure won't pay no $1.50 for a candy bar that should only cost fifty cents, but I just rather do without. I do see that the price different useing cash or credit because the credit card company cost the store alot for each swipe. I talk to one store owner over at the lake and it cost around $50 a month to use plus fee for the card reader. Not counting the card owner paying fees also. the credit card companys is making a killing. ANy way I will still keep my bussiness at simmons. I rather support our local and keep our money in our area.

I bought a pizza and they gave me a receipt for the pizza. I don't need a receipt for the pizza. I'll just give you the money, and you give me the pizza, end of transaction.
We don't need to bring ink and paper into this. I just can't imagine a scenario where I would have to prove that I bought a pizza.

Leerjack = Big Illusion. Pretty lights and paper doesn't make what's inside any better. It's great they are open 24/7. We need that here. If I'm not desperate for gas at 2am, I'll still go to Simmons. Good hard-working local people. Pizza made to order when you order, same brand. Gas same or cheaper. Who wants to pay more for credit and then interest on the card?? Got most everything else I might need. If you like your fudge and can afford it go for it. If you can't walk a few more steps fine. Enjoy it while it's here...
