We have all heard lots of rumors on Swine Flu, The doctors turning people away that come in with symptoms of Swine flu, And now the Vaccine. It is said that back in the 80's there was a break out of Swine Flu and they made a vaccine then. People Began experiencing Paralysis. Fingers, Toes, whole bodies. Granted medical research was not nearly what it is today. However, people are being warned that if thay start to experience tingling in the fingers or toes or anywhere else on the body after getting the Vaccine, they should get med. help pronto. Sorry but it sounds to me that not much else has changed. And british medical studies showed that there were Chemicals in the vaccine that were used as agent Orange and also small amounts of chemicals used in Ant-freeze. That surely puts a red flag up with me. I am not going to have my Children get the Swine Flu Vaccine. The reg. Flu vaccine yes, Swine Flu vaccin, No.

I am glad to see that so many people feel the same as I do. I understand the urgency to get this vaccine out. But I don't think it should be done so quickly as to do more damage then harm.

Here's a question for you. If you do not get the vaccine and your child dies, can you live with that decision? Can you convince yourself you did the best a parent can do for their child? From where I stand, getting it outweighs the risks of dying from it.

Ok lets ask this .. If you get your kid the shot and they die can you live with that? We as parents do the best we can do for our kids. This is a very scary thing that is happening. We are worried and dont know all the facts!

It sounds like everyone has different opinions here...just like every other issue on the planet...that's what makes this America, people. We have the right to have different opinions and parenting styles. I think you have to do what YOU think is right for your children. Whether it is the swine flu vaccine or spanking/not spanking or 2% or whole milk. My point is this...your children are just that...yours. My children have not gotten sick (hopefully they won't). But I think the reason they are basically healthy most of the time is because they've seen a germ or two. I've heard about several sick kids, and I'm sorry but it sounds like the one that are getting the sickest are the ones that either have other health problems (like asthma) or their parents are "germophobes". That's not to say my kids won't get it...they do get the regular flu once in a while...but I'm pretty confident they can fight it off if they do. I don't rush them to the doctor every time they get a sniffle. Some doctors (not all) will prescribe antibiotics even when they know the illness is due to a virus (antibiotics don't kill viruses, only bacterial infections). When you've been overprescribed antibiotics, I think your body's own immune system quits working properly...you need to give them time to fight off infections themselves before you start poking medicine down them. Now, that doesn't mean I'm one of those radicals that says all doctors are quacks. A very small baby, one that is sickly anyway or has some kind of chronic health problem, or even a bigger kid that starts acting very sick (fever for more than a day or two) or vomiting a lot...etc...should be taken to the doctor. I just think we need to not overreact with ANY sickness including the H1N1 virus.

Have not heard of anyone dying from the shot, however, it's a fact they have died from the flu itself. Pretty clear which is the higher road & which is the lower.

250,000 doses cost the government 2 billion dollars. The president declared this a national emergency. 1,000 people have died. The school has been closed. Go get your vaccine.

We went to our family Dr. to get this shot and he is not even giving them. He said he wasn't taking it and he did not feel comfortable giving it so he was refusing to give it. He said he did not recommend anyone taking it. So we didn't get it.

If your kids have serious health problems, the shot might be the safer solution. If they are healthy, they should be fine. The risk of the shot highly outweighs a week of being sick. Would you rather get the shot and find out in time what effects it has on you our your kids offspring? According to the research I've checked into, it is not safe. Mercury is a base of the new shots. If you take enough mercury drops, you will definitely not get the pig flu.

Please tell us who your doctor is. I want to make sure I don't let anyone I know go to him.

here ya go, Dana. Take a look at this.

Sorry, my kids won't be getting them, either. I'm sure this young lady's mother is very happy that she got the shot, as well.

Why would you not want anyone to go to him? I think he is a good Dr. Like all doctors they each have their own level of good judgement. Some doctors think it is fine to prescribe hormone medicine, some don't. So would you say the ones that don't are bad doctors? Some doctors will prescribe diet pills some won't, which one is the "bad" doctor? I feel confident with my doctor and the guidance he gives me and my family. With that being said, I can assure you that my doctor is not the same doctor as the other person who posted, so looks like there is at least 2 doctors that feel the same way.

She has a rare neurological disorder that they THINK was triggered by the shot. It is unproven if it had anything to do with it. a 1 in a million, that means 999,999 thousand other kids without any rare disorders would be fine. You choosing to see only the rare bad instances that have yet to be proven are caused by the shot instead of the millions that are fine with it. I hope none of you find you have made a mistake. You will then blame your doctor for telling you not to get it instead of yourselves.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Gemini

It's a busy day and you've got quite enough to do without having to cope with people clamoring for your attention and likely to go into a huff if they don't get it. Is this person feeling neglected because you're busily occupied elsewhere or are there other reasons for their demanding mood? Simply giving them a big hug could make all the difference to their behavior.
