How many of those 5000 jobs at the tech park have been created?
The Mississippi Business Journal
September 22 2003
Next year, Howard Computers plans to begin construction on its new plant in the 550-acre Howard Technology Park just outside of Ellisville (eight miles south of Laurel). The Jones County Economic Development Authority estimates that the new facility could employ 5,000 people within the next five years.
Then again EDA and Howard Ind. Don't know much about tech or markets.

Ya just blame it all on one fall guy that has little in way to defend themselves. Always be careful when working for someone like the Howards. When something goes wrong they'll throw you under the bus regardless if you had anything to do with it or not.

i think the laws 4 illegal immigrants are a joke these people knew what they were doing or it wouldnt happen so much and also they work these people way to much i mean my "God" there was a death at the plant caused by exaustion from being over worked God created the earth in 6 days and took the 7th day to rest but these people dont believe in giving there workers a day off im surprised there hasnt been any law suits on that because it is against the law to work the way they do 7 days a week (give me a break)!!!

I doubt Billy and Linda knew much about the illegals. You'd be surprised how much they don't know about their company. That's negligence in itself but their priorities are 1. making more money. 2. Making more money. 3. Making more money. 4. building big houses. 5. Building a useless, empty tech park 6-125 making more money. It's just not on their radar screen.
7 days a week? oilfield workers almost alway work 7 straight and often work 21 days straight or more.Don't know the situation you are referring to but lots of people choose to work on weekends at Howards to make more money. Sometimes no one is there on Sundays and when they are it's a few dozen of the thousands of employees.

Do you think the Howard's own the business for themselves or to employ others? It is all about the money for the Howard's and all about the money for everyone that works there. How many people work for nothing? You do not want our government sharing the wealth from your paycheck. Why should the Howard's share the wealth with their employees. You look for a deal every time you buy something, or you would not look at the price before you purchase. Employees are no different from the owners of businesses when it comes to spending money. They look for the best workers at the least wage. Some owners will show their appreciation of dedication in bonuses, but that will always be during good economic conditions, and when their wealth becomes great enough for guilt. Start your own company and we will see how much you are willing to give away.

You lost me on about 4/5s of this. Seems you're say the eleventh commandment is looking out for number 1. The Hell with the law, safety, morals or the community that you work in.
As far as Taxes? Billy get lots of tax breaks from the state, locals and feds. America has one of the lowest corporate tax rates in the world once you understand everything can be written off for depreciation. Cars, fixtures, office furniture, missing office supplies, illegal alien training. Anyone doing short form with enough expense to write off is missing out.
What I got from you is GREED IS GOOD! Well then, I think I will either ship in some Chinese nationals for a few pennies an hour or get congress to bring back slavery. Cause I am looking out for number 1! You dumb citizens can pick up the health care, jails and schools for them. Cause Billy Howard is the way and you can get his bills. Have fun.
