If/when Jessica is arrested JoAnna will probably end up in foster care along with Gabriella but maybe if they have your contact info you will be able to get JoAnna,,,,,although I do not know what kind of record you have or don't have and if you have proven paternity or not. Maybe someone in your family or Jessica's family can help out, but since everyone is in different states, it will be much harder. Call Lee County Sheriff Johnson and ask for his help.

Lynne gave great advise about contacting the authorities and an attorney. Jessica, leaving your baby with people isn't the same as adopting a baby to decent people. You have the legal responsibilty, to maintain her support and well being. Even if you signed custody and guardianship over it doesn't take away the resposibility of the parent. If Gabby is taken by the state, so will Jojo. They will look at it that both children are yours. All they have to do is pull your record from Corinth and have all your medical as well as that Birth Certificate. Plus Janet has told everyone on how you got to Mississippi, and her plans. Not to mention you yourself said the thing about selling a baby. Janet has made no bones about the fact that she has bought you things and Jojo things so she could receive Gabby. That is buying a baby. Plain...Simple...and Illegal as hell...And you know Janet well enough that you know she is going to throw you under the bus. She isn't going to take responsibility for her actions without someone going down with her. So you need to take the advice and save yourself and both of your children.

You still have responsibilities to her whether YOU like it or not. You can't just cast her off like trash.
Trying to reconcile in your head that Gabby is not yours and long gone and how you have provisions in place for Jojo's future won't cut it with the authorities. The law doesn't see Gabby as cast off trash like you do. You are responsible for not only placing her with criminals and thieves but also for receiving financial benefit for yourself for doing so.
That is against the law and you had better ready yourself for the repercussions. You disgust me.You ahve a chance to care about someone else apart from yourself and as usual, you only concern is for yourself.

Hey Bud, just print off these posting; especially the one where Jessica threatens to cut you out of the child life if you try to protect her. I can tell you this much, a judge would give you custody on that basis alone because she is interfering in your daughters life to have access to her biological parent. You got enough here to get your daughter ... Obviously, no amount of encouragement is going to make Jessica realize her criminal involvement in this whole issues. Apply for custody through social services on an emergency order and you will get your daughter out of that terrible mess. Just contact social services, they will assist you in completion of the paperwork and get you before the judge -- that way you don't have court expenses or filing fees.

You know i really wonder what as a mother and a person that i have done that is so bad to have a child like joanna. she is the worst behaved child im the whole world and shows no signs me ever getting better. i do not even know how i deal with her day after day withous wanting to hurt either her or myself. i can understand how my mother felt when she told my grandmother that she could not deal with me anymore. i will say that is was her fault that i was the way i was but i can understand her not wanting to raise a problem child. i dieg not think that i had been as bad to joanna as my mother was to NE1 im fact i try my very best not to be what my mother was but still karma is paying me back daily for my mistakes with joanna. god give me the strenght and the patience to deal with her one more DAY!!!

This subject has been beat to hell and back, anyone want something a little more heart warming to view?

I always try to find a really worthy cause around the holidays to help someone and I ran across the website listed below.

Just watching the video alone opened my eyes to a subject we don't all really think about until you run across something like this.

I recall watching the news report on this family about a year ago in California and often wondered whatever happened to the family. It was pretty heartbreaking.

She has a shout box on her website and I hope everyone will send her well wishes. After chatting with her, I found her to be a very nice young girl.

Much more worthy subject folks, obviously Jessica really isn't interested in the welfare of her child, but the young lady running that website above certainly is caring and concerned about her children. Too Bad Jessicas child is set up for a lifetime of failure and child abuse in the hands of Janet.

Anyway, just thought I might give ya's something a little more worthy to look at. I'm gonna bag on this subject, it's old and fruitless.

This may be an "old" subject but not fruitless. Things are happening just at a small pace. One step forward two steps back sort of thing. It is fine to give a child up for adoption, what wasn't fine was going to MS with the express desire to give the baby to Janet. Then accepting things, makes it illegal. She received food, clothing, toys and what have you. Also whether Jessica was in on the craigslist little scam to get free items for her and Jojo, I don't know. But it was turned in also.
