does anybody notice the airplane that flys very low over gilmer county? just wondering about it, it has been doing that for years.

I think Gilmer county is infcluded in the Snowbird MOA (military operations area).

If it low flying it is proably a C-130 Hecules flying training missions of the 94th Airlift Wing at Dobbins.
Lockheed-Martin also uses Dobbins in support of AF Plant 6.
There are other units that use the Snowbird MOA for all types of training exercises. Some you may see and hear some you may hear some you will neither see nor hear.
