Doesn't she also work for someone high up on the board? At ETC? And didn't he just a few months before being suspended purchase a foreclosed home for her in her name that is listed at being worth over 500,000? And didn't that 500,000 dollar home belong to his old time friend who had quit the bank and was it really foreclosed on? Wonder how much was really paid for that 500,000 dollar home they living in?
Tax records allow the public to follow the paper trails.....
Might want to check your source, this home wasn't foreclosed on according to the Gilmer assessors office. Of course I'm sure you'll find a way to twist that into a conspiracy too. MMMMMMMMHHMMMMMM

Although your comment may not be dead on, its close. You would not believe the amount of insider trading that has went on there...That bank is a house of cards from the top down to the maintenance guys who work there. The only reason it hasn't been taken over yet is the FDIC hasn't found a lending institution stupid enought not to realized the books have been cooked year after year.
Once one of them gets arrested its going to be intresting because they will sing the truth to save their own tail.

Of course it wasn't listed as foreclosed on. HE was the one in charge of exactly what was put on the transaction. The only twisting being done is by people who can't see that you are trying to derail this comment board. Too many people know the truth and it will all come out. Bank on it.... as grandpa used to say!

It wasn't a foreclosure it was a short sale which is worse because it was all done under the table without public scrutiny. This transaction alone is enough for an indictment. I know this for a fact.

The FBI and FDIC are going to let these guys get by without an arrest till the bank is taken over, or worse, shut down completely. Its pretty obvious they can't get another bank to take it over, or it would have happened by now. The C&D was ordered back in June, but the search for a take over bank has been going on for a while, trust me.

The worse of the two scenarios is a complete bank shutdown. What a lot of people dont realize is the effect that has on the banking system nationwide. The effect creates so much headache for the FDIC, that they would rather keep ACB afloat as to shut it down. Arrests and inditements would be not only the worst thing for the bank right now, but also the FDIC. The FDIC will continue to sweep this stuff under the rug, but they know whats under the rug, and eventually, they will decide to clean house. Think about it.

A short sale is absolutely no reason for any indictments. If so, half the folks in Gilmer county would be at the court house right now. Ya'll need to get facts straight and quit grabbing at straws.
BTW Crider, are you the one that was in the paper recently for foreclosure??? MMMMMMMMHHMMMMMMM

Let me give u a scenerio since u wish to hijack the truth being spoken here. Suppose the person at a bank who could look at the property that his good friend is having to let go into foreclosure. This person has the capability of switching the amount that is owed on it to a different property. Just a matter of paperwork. He could grab the high dollar home up while switching the amount that is owed to the bank to another home. Put it in his wife's name and have a nice little switcharoo.
While Bernie up in Washington this past summer was being pounded the local's were doing what? Sure lots of banks are in trouble. But why don't you ask the board for a copy of the report they got back. Hear it revealed a helluva lot. This bank didn't just go down because of economy. Somebody unloaded a lot of big bucks from the bank to their own pockets.
And it won't be over til the fat lady sings?

I'm not hijacking "truth", I'm hijacking all the bullshit that all you keyboard jockeys keep dreaming up. There are a LOT of banks in trouble in this country, there are a lot of banks already taken over by the FDIC. Did you guys not even look at the list Mountain Mouth posted? Were all these banks run by crooks? I mean according to you bunch of hillbilly fools that can be the only possible reason that banks are in trouble? Check the foreclosures in the rag of a paper we have here. Look at the amounts owed then look up the value of the property on the Gilmer tax assessors site. Hell, there's several in there this week that the amount borrowed is TWICE what the property is worth. So who's crooked? The loan officer that OK's the loan or the ass that KNOWS they're taking advantage of a situation and borrowing way more than what their shit is worth only to find out, or knew when they signed the papers, that they couldn't afford to pay the money back. Get with reality.
And this BS about the FDIC ain't gonna take over any more banks because of "CONTAGION" HAH!!! That's laughable at best. Hell let's just blame all this shit on Bush and be done with it.. MMMMMMMHHMMMMMMM

You sir (term used loosely), are an idiot.
You have no idea how to interpret financial data regarding distressed banks.

This bank has very serious problems not all attributed the local real estate market.

You spout off on things you have little to no knowledge of.

I am intelligent enough to read the financial data along with what appears to be some black and white instances showing breach of trust.

Generally, breach of trust goes hand in hand with some manner of illegal activity.

I will not offer an opinion of the current situation at this bank because I have nothing pertinent to offer.

May I suggest unless you have evidence to the contrary you do likewise.

If Adam Teague bought Bart Nunley, Jr's house at a short sale price shortly before Little Bart left the bank that is unethical at best, criminal at worst. The proper action would have been to put the house on the open market instead of insider deals that line the pockets of bank executives. The investors and stockholders are victims of fraud and fraud is a crime.

There is nothing wrong with someone pursuing a short sale on their home, but if that someone works for the bank that holds the loan and an executive at the same bank buys the home, even someone with an IQ as low as yours should no that something is not right about that transaction.

For the record you did not see my name in the paper under foreclosures.

My friend, it ain't scenario, rumor, supposition, coulda woulda shoula, if it happened to you! The "Real McCoy" happend to us! We got sucked up in a total construction economic collapse in the industry we made our living from, fed and educated our kids from, and generally enjoyed our lively hoods from. Frankly, my man, we got [email protected] by this over zelous bunch of bankers whom stood to profit off the back of their core customers, even to the point of being those customers direct competition! No bla, bla, bla! Fact. If none of this directly happend to you or your family, you should find something else to do with your time. We on the otherhand, have contacted our attorneys, and the wheels are in motion to dig out the truth of the matters being discussed here. I can't say what has actually happened to others whom have voice their concerns herein, but as for us, we know the truth. There was DEFINATE insider deals done with regard to at least one of our properties. Proof of the puddin', is that a bank employee is currently living in and enjoying that arrangement at our expense. We have asertained the entire transaction occurance, and belive me, a "DEAL" was afforded! Now, as for us, SHAME, SHAME, SHAME on us for ever getting envolved with this institution in the first place. It is hard to believe that we somehow became so nieve! We blundered forward, no less than believing that something less than ethical was going on all along, but simply could not prove it. NOW WE CAN!!

Well stated, GB in MC. Breach of Trust is a serious crimminal offence, in addition to "unfair trade practices," being a seriour civil matter.

To many citizens have been taken advantage of for most of these accusations not to be accurate.

Sure hope it's an investigative reported from one of the Atlanta TV Stations as most of them are very good at getting information out to the powers that be where they have to respond.

email me if you think you've got a reason to be on the short list to meet with the reporter. As most of you know by now - everything to me is confidential until I am told otherwise. I'm not making any promises, just gathering potential contacts for their selection.

Be sure you tell them to speak with directors at the bank and ask for the report they got back on exactly what's been going on. The public has a right to see what is on that report right, since the public's trust and money was/is in that bank. The report has enough facts to make a mighty interesting story. It's a small community up here. A lot more people are pissed off than imagined. Ask the director's for a copy of the report.

Well, Well, Well, isn't this nice. Suddenly my entire email account has been wiped clean, and the account temporarily deactivated. AOL Tech Support says its under temporary review suddenly, and can't comment further. All my other Screen Name accounts with AOL are just fine. Now who's got the power to do that I wonder?
Let's try this one: [email protected]
Anyone needing to send me anything can send it there.
And if my emails aren't back in my box in short order - I swear I'll spend every waking hour of my time educating every reporter on wallstreet with a phone about this potentially looming bank collapse, which is most likely going to spread like a contagious wildfire.
David,

I think this could be proof the FBI has your account "under review".
