An excellent shop very knowledgeable and don't mind sharing it with you it is all about the customer, no labor on new tires and reasonable labor on all others

In response to your post. The daycare and motorcycle shop are both owned by the same family. You couldn't ask for a more family oriented or honest family run business if you tried. They work hard to provide a good place in Ellijay that normally would require you to travel an hour to get to the same services.

Learn to take the punches with the blows if you want to ever be an honest person running a buisness in Ellijay. The rumors, Im sure are to follow. Its like poeople that have known you for years would rather go with the roumers spread them around instead of comming to you face to face and asking about it. This town is full of wimps. But then again, some wonderful clients that will stick to you till the end(mostly the ones that ask). And Heaven forbib you EVER get a divorce in this town! you will be burned at the stake.

The words Hot Rods is not a good name for a business in our God fearing town. It is suggestive and bad for our children to see. I do I explain what a Hot Rod is to by kids?

It's 2010. There are ALOT worse words/phrases than "hot rod", I hope you are kidding b/c you make the rest of the people who live here look like morons.

Wow! Where do I start? "Hot Rods" is "suggestive"? Of what?
A hot rod is a modified automobile!

Do they teach spelling or grammar in your God-fearing town? Did I see you in "Deliverance"?

Stupid! That pretty much sums up the whole shop. What was I thinking going to this place after all the warnings not to. Tony cannot do anything to a motorcycle that doesn't require a professional to fix, and he want even think about trying to make it right. It will all come back to him one day. So I say never again.

Ive had motor work and other various work done at Hod rods n Harleys. Tony does a GREAT job and is VERY reasonable with his prices. I work for a Harley dealer and it was still cheaper to go with Tony than get it done here and honestly he does a better job than the Master Techs that work for Harley. I recommend everyone to go see Tony for anything bike related!

Went there once for what should have been a 30 minute labor charge; they did not know what they were doing and charged me for 2 hours. Also called and asked price for oil change on bike...they wanted $100. RIPOFF

Reading the prior postings in these forums I have been enlightened at how mean spirited some people up here are.
I have visited HotRods and Harleys once just to see what they had to offer. Even though I dont ride a Harley I was graciously accepted by the kind staff and they answered the many questions I had about the shop. They seemed to be fine folks. They even had some kind comments about my ugly Triumph sitting out side. Although I do all my own work on my bike I will definitely be going back to buy accessories and some of the cool T-shirts they have.

I have not had my Harley worked on there but probably will after warranty is over. The times I have visited there I was treated great and all questions answered. Seems like a great place.

This place is a complete joke!! They have sent our Harley home 3 diff times with oil & gas pouring out all over it and each time blamed it on the way it was rode home! They said they could paint the bike, sent bike home scratched and when we notified them bout it they accused us of scatching it! The lady is rude and the place is a complete rip off. If your trying to help a friend out and sign an insurance check so they can get most of the insurance money and just give you a little of it to fix the bike "As cheap as you can" this isnt smart move when a 3rd party is involved. This is insurance fraud and they do have a hotline! Family or not, friend or not someone will pay for all the screw ups.
Hard lesson learned folks, DO NOT GO HERE!! They do not know what they are doing. The even left a vaccum hose off the harley & tried to convience us it was suppose to be that way.
Good grief! We spend lot money paying the insurance mthly & the payment on this Harley every mth for Hot Rods & Harley to do such a poor job on it!

I just wanted to let you know that I prayed for you last night. I also prayed for all the people that go on this web sight and facebook to destroy people. My parents raised me to have respect for my fellow man and to always treat people the way that I wanted to be treated. I don't have to judge people or down them, that is not my job. There is a man in a lot higher position that can handle that. I will continue to pray for the people in this town that the lord will bless them like he has my family. I only have to answer to him. Tim Mcgraw once said; If you put your priorities in order everything else will fall in place.
