You know it hurt us so bad when we went through that hard time I literally cried and told everyone of you you guys deserve so much more and that we pray every day to become successful so we could give all of you so much more. We tried to cominsate by giving you and your families free food and even gave you guys personal items from our home we lost like toys and clothes and even BEAUTIFUL furniture. Doors , a beautiful wooden fence so much. You know what guys I just don't understand you even brought and done other activities to our business and worked on them on our clock we didn't say a word we even tried to support your beliefs and worked around what ever anyone needed. You know what guys you win ..... We tried so hard and the sad thing is every one of you watched us sell the very last thing we owned just to try and have this dream just to try and have some type of life so we can help our selves and maybe even others. I don't even have the slightest idea why people are like this I really and truly believed everyone would be excited knowing there was fresh food and a couple out there that really cared and took pride in what they served. Well what can I say I guess everyone was right we are not going to make it not with all this. And what is so funny we believed in this so much we took every penny we had over 50,000.00 from the accident and changed the whole place do it would be CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE for others. We just wanted to be good people and be known if any body ever needed any thing or if anybody was hungry and had no food or money come see us we' ll help or if someone had trouble in their life and needed a second chance we wanted to help but now it looks like we are going to be on the streets and hungry ourselves. We didn't even have to be we could have been a little comfortable and payed our bills with that money. We just wanted to try. You know what gets me x employee YOU WERE THE ONE HUGGING ME SAYING YOUR GOOD PEOPLE IT'S GOING TO WORK OUT YOU ALWAYS SAID WE DESERVED TO MAKE IT. AND I believed you because I knew you would say you prayed for us and you acted like you were so devoted to church. But there toward the end we saw a side we did not understand. Especially the morning you came in yelling at me because I scheduled you to work on wed. I told you I forgot about you going to church and changed it that second. Why did you yell and be so hateful to me. You even made me cry because you made me feel like a terrible human being for forgetting. Why are people do hateful? Why can't we all come together and help each other out?..... Wouldn't life be great. Think of the ripple effect ok people support our restaraunt. Our restaraunt buys more products from our local fruit and butcher. We hire more people they hire more people. So on and so on....... Everyone would be able to pay there bills couples have peace and harmony in there lives and parents are able to buy a little something for their child they needed or wanted and put a smile on their face .... Wow does anyone think like this? Or is it just like I sit here and read ..... Please please rethink what you are trying to do. Be honest YOU KNOW YOU COULD WALK IN OUR DOORS RIGHT THIS VERY MOMENT AND IF YOU NEEDED ANYTHING WE WOULD DROP WHAT WE ARE DOING AND HELP YOU OR AT LEAST FIND A WAY TOO EVEN AFTER ALL THIS. ACTUALLY WE WOULDN'T EVEN ACT LIJE WE HAD SEEN OR READ ALL THIS. THIS IS A TRUE STATEMENT ISN'T IT? We did love ya and we still wish we could have done so much for all of you
If the money went "straight to the employees and not into the register," aren't you cheating on taxes?

You know April, I see you now trying to put on the "woe is me" act and acting as if you never did anything wrong. I NEVER yelled at you for scheduling me on Wednesday...I NEVER EVER raised my voice to you. that was your forte. I simply said, April I can't work on Wednesdays and what was your reaction? "I don't even want to speak to you right now" is what you said. I never said anything that wasn't true. The ONLY free food we got was while we were working. Anything else we got we had to pay for...if we didn't have the money, we could charge it but none the less it certainly wasn't free. Let's see...the only activities I worked on while I was there, was stuff I was doing for you...like all those menus I made for you. You gave me a hand full of clothes for me, a few toys for my kids but NEVER doors or fences. You seem to be completely confused about a lot of things April...much like you were that day you were lost driving around and a friend and I drove around looking for you and you had NO IDEA who I was when I talked to you on the phone but all of a sudden when I got back to the restaurant you knew who I was? Please April. I will not go into the other details but stop pretending to be perfect and helpful. You had me in tears many times the way you talked to me. How many people have quit because you couldn't pay them April?

Sounds like someone was trying to work but couldn't get paid. What's wrong with complaining about it to other people? Sounds like she tries to complain to the ones who owe her money and it didn't work. Now she'll prob be getting on govt benefits and you'll bitch about that too.

Sometimes I love to listen to or read gossip.
Sometimes I find it utterly distasteful, and this is one of those times. Not when it gets hateful and vindictive.

I'm going to Tony's with a open mind and an appetite.

But hold the cobbler, please. I just don't like cobbler.
(I just shocked Pro!)

Chicken & Dumplings I could live by!
Sweet tea, please just shoot me. Please. My teeth hurt thinking about that cra-...witches brew.

No, I just don't like cobbler. I tried, really I did, but I prefer chocolate cake. Or pumpkin pie. Or donuts/doughnuts.

But don't even try to come between me and my boiled peanuts ;|
Boiled peanuts are the best offering the south had to offer, gastronomically.
Does that redeem my Honorary Southerness????? Say yes!

Try Blackberry Cobbler. I was at Caseys in canton yesterday an actually saw a sweet potato cobbler, now that is a first for me. If you are going to fit in in the south. You will need to love Pecan Pie, fried potatoes, cornbread, and soup beans. Here are some more southern foods: fried okra, fried squash, turnip greens, collard greens, deer, squirrel, onions, ramps, fatback.

My daughter & I stopped in for breakfast before I took her to school this morning. We both really enjoyed it. Very friendly service & awesome biscuits. We even ordered my husband two tenderloin biscuits & took them to him at work. He loved them. We will be back for lunch or dinner this weekend. Hope everyone gives this place a try for themselves instead of listening to all the topix bull crap. Really want to see them make it instead of seeing an empty place as I drive by every day. Thanks!
