A multiple cell embryo can be called 'human life.'
But, so can a kidney, a heart, a lung, etc. These are all 'human life', and living.
These latter can be cut out and transplanted into another person, or just discarded when they become invasive and a danger.
So can an embryo.
We should be talking about a 'human being' instead of 'human life.' Then, it could be seen that an abortion prior to the third trimester is not necessarily the destruction of a 'human person.'
For goodness sake, the hairs on my head are human life. It doesn't stop me from getting a haircut.

Man, I love the simplicity of your generation. No wonder life was so much better then. I mean, now that you compared a hair cut to an abortion, I can see the light. Damn, what are you views on the economy, the war in Iraq, Global warming, religion, please enlighten us.

k well lets see here...now the reason you would dispose of a body part, and have it replace.... such as a kidney or a heart... would be because it is no longer functioning properly thereby causing a life or death situation for the person....a baby is a little different than that... the baby does not, in most cases, cause a life or death condition in the mother that is carrying it...
are you telling us that at 6 months gestation that "embryo" as you called it is not a baby??? have you seen what a 6 month old child in the womb looks like?? go do some research then come back and chat...oh...and human hair is not human life...its actually dead skin cells...

If life begins at conception, does this mean we can draw Social Security 9 months earlier??
