Anonymous Bloomingburg, NY	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #1 Jan 30, 2013 Monday, January 28, 2013 the Ellenville area lost an amazing kid. 13 year old Richard (Richie aka Jerry) Canissario. Our hearts and thoughts go out to Richies family. Richie and his brother 15 year old John (Boo) Valleau slipped away from us in their sleep on Saturday, January 26, 2013 due to bad decisions, and passed on Monday. If you had the pleasure of meeting Richie, you would know just how amazing that kid was. On Tuesday January 29 hundreds of students from Onteora, Kingston, Saugerties, Rondout, and Walden celebrated Richie and Boos lives by wearing blue, it was Richies favorite color. This has hit our area very hard. And our condolences go out to the families, and friends. Please educate your children on the dangers of taking prescription pills, this is something that a parent should never have to go through. Rest in Peace Richie, if you only knew how much you are loved.
