I knew the victim personally... he was a loving husband and father to 4 beautiful children. It's sad that extremely stupid people own guns. The suspect should be locked up forever. He took an important life.

I also knew the victim and his family personally and it is such a shame to loose such a beloved son, husband, father, brother and friend. We are all angered by this loss and hope that justice is rightfully served to the one that deprived his family and friends of love one!

He got away with murdering a guy 6 years ago. Give him life.
2 sides

He was killed while nearly killing another man. It's sad that anyones life had to end but other people were also hurt by him and almost killed so neither one is right. But there are 2 sides here.
Unfortunate- but

As noted previously, there are 2 sides to a story. According to another report, the deceased beat up a friend of the guy who did the shooting. His friend was sent to the intensive care unit. You don't go to the ICU for being punched once or twice, it sounds like there was a severe beat down on a guy who couldn't defend himself. In addition, witnesses state that the deceased followed the guy who did the shooting to the back. Why? Maybe to give another beat down. It sounds like self defense to me. If I'm going to be beat to a bloody pulp, I would defend myself at all costs. Especially if a guy is going to send me to the ICU or maybe worse... It's unfortunate that one guy probably nearly died from being beaten to death, and that another had to die. However, self defense is not murder. This incident probably created a lot of heart ache for people on both sides. There isn't just one victim here.
