WE NEED SHELTER For THE HOMELESS

Who would think our homeless population has grown? It's sad to hear about those who died from exposure. Too bad one of those empty buildings that have sat there for years couldn't be used for a soup kitchen and a place for the homeless to sleep.

The people that are camped along the river do not want to go to the shelter too may rules. I just wonder where they go to the bathroom? In the river?

One might think that a homeless person would be happy to have a few rules, such as digging a hole and burying their waste for sanitation and health reasons if nothing else.

I wasn't aware that we had a shelter here. Where is it? If we have one, they should go there, rules and all. Winters here can be very bitter. I just can't see someone suffering when they had options. I certainly hope there are no children over there.
