Bensalem is becoming a popular playground for drug dealers, drug users and abusers as well as theft and violence. Many of the rural areas surrounding this once nice suburb have began spilling over the twp lines. The people who make these drugs and give the orders no longer live near by, they're miles away in a safe place for them while our towns are being bombarded with their henchmen. It discerning and alarming that for someone caught selling drugs or using these substances can be easily "off the hook" for dropping the dime on someone else or plea bargaining. Of course it's a main goal to run the line back to the head honcho, but if this is at the cost of all the Looney's still able to run our streets, it's not a very ideal system. I've seen, read about and personally known many people in the Bensalem area who have Over dosed, been caught selling, or seen under the influence of drugs as serious as heroine among other things. One of the problems are the filthy hotels with their extra cheap day rates and such, that align the Roosevelt Boulevard which hits the very outer limits of Bensalem and Trevose. These hotels, every one of them are constantly being surrounded by the Bensalem PD even S.W.A.T Now if these establishments are harboring drug dealers, offenders, criminals, prostitutes, as well as at at least one confirmed Inn guest that was wanted for murder, I think it is safe to say, they should not be there. There should be a better system in place. Turning a blind eye to these occurrences is no longer appeasing. It seemed before the only way to keep riff raff and unwanted uncivilized criminal people out of your area was to raise prices and set laws requesting certain guidelines for the towns citizens to follow. The day of wrist slaps is over. We need enforcement and harsher punishment as well as no walk off for whistle blowing. Enough is enough.
