Can the Republican Party regain control of the Senate in 2014? After the embarrassing failure of the democrats vis a vis gun control, there could be a backlash led by gun rights advocates that could very well result in republican control of the senate, leading to the destruction of the insane"Obamacare"hea lth program.

How about a female weigh in on the issue of breast feeding and when and when it's not appropriate and why idiots need a breast feeding law. I have a friend and a cousin who both breast fed their children until age five. That's warped to me and pretty close to sex abuse. Breast feeding children far beyond the age of giving them a sippy cup is out of control. When a child is old enough to ask mom for the teet or reach in her blouse to grab the milk jug, laws need to be made. Breastfeeding is a natural and healthy way to feed a child during INFANCY. There are breast pumps to pump milk before leaving for an outing that a mother can use and there's no need to breastfeed in public. I don't like to see it and I'm a woman. To me it says "I'm a woman too lazy to pump milk and fix bottles before I leave and not have to whip out the jug or have my breasts leaking all over my blouse, so I'll just make not only myself uncomfortable but everyone around me."

Breastfeeding? What kind of nut breastfeeds in public? I'm older than dirt, and I've never seen some weirdo breastfeeding in public.Is it distasteful? To me, makes me uncomfortable.Should we pass yet ANOTHER LAW, to make breastfeeding punishable as a felony?? Just seems to me, we strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.While we worry about breasts, the military is being pressured by a militant atheist organization to make it illegal for military personnel to discuss their WTF??

Plenty of crazies in NC that breastfeed in public. Visit Charlotte sometime. These breastfeeding mothers should get paid for the boob shows they provide. A race car driver was excoriated for tweeting that he was disgusted and left a grocery store because a mother had her child sitting up in the little seat on the grocery cart "nursing" as she was pushing the child around the store. When a child is agile enough to sit up, hold onto the buggy and "nurse"; the child needs to be weaned.

Women who aren't nursing mothers should have a bit of decorum; however, some women have it or buy it and like to show it and though I don't do it, I do think the current laws address this issue. Sadly, most women think showing T and A is the only way to get a man and it's not a good example for young girls who should be taught that good looks are great but they last only so long and a good education will last a lot longer.

You need to check your own "facts". The republikans are infested and you know it. Just like Mr Oxycodone Limbaugh rails against drugs and then has to spend time in a detox center for the very thing he was harping against. Talking out both sides of the mouth is a republikan hereditary trait. Millions of working people collectively contribute hundreds of times more to the state than all the race car owners combined. So why do they not deserve the same breaks as race card owners? Why would you believe that working people should be taxed more heavily so that the beautiful people can pay less taxes?
<quoted text>
Again, you answered your own question with the word "collectively."
ONE car owner provides hundreds of direct jobs and a few thousand indirect jobs while creating millions in tax revenue. ONE employee provides no jobs and creates hundreds/a few thousand in tax revenue. Without tax breaks for the car owners, or and business for that matter, the worker has no job in NC because there are 49 other states that WILL offer that break.
Surely you're not that naive?

<quoted text> That's my point, Pro.There are ALREADY LAWS AGAINST NUDITY! Why does the republican legislature need to pass MORE? This is the party of"less government"?
Due to the fact that the Commucrats like to play semantics, laws must be passed that address each and every situation because generalizations don't work anymore.
Ex. When one says public nudity I think of those parts of the body that would be covered by say, underwear. To a liberal, that doesn't include breast because, we'll, they're just breast, it's no big deal, so laws must be passed to INCLUDE breast as public nudity.

Question: hypothetically let's say you control the budgets for two programs. 1st program is to build statues around your state in memory of falling hero's. 2nd program is to provide life saving medicine to sick children. You have recently been told to cut one of the two programs by 30%. Which program gets the cut and why?

Funny you bring this up. I saw on the news yesterday where those Senators that are up for re-election in 2014 have asked the Ruler NOT to endorse their candidacy.
Unfortunately for all Americans, Obamacare is already to far intrenched into the healthcare system to overturn.
Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi will forever be known as the ones who passed the single most destructive govt program in American History!

I'm here to say that Ted Cruz also believes that gun rights supporters will respond vigorously to the absurd attacks on law abiding gun owners, in the 2014 elections.What could be better than to see a republican stranglehold on the Senate and the House? Republikans are the American version of the Taliban. Pretending the female breast is a threat to society is just an excuse for trying to get their women under control. This is just a new twist on the old barefoot and pregnant tactic. Next republikans will have their women (and all women) wearing veils in public to prevent other men from being attracted . They are not so stupid as to believe that making more laws against something which is already illegal will make the events less likely. Republikans are just that insecure in their own manhood. They are sickos.
<quoted text>
Yet it's another example of your socialist party's views that public nudity is not a threat to society. And your party wonders why teen pregnancies, single mothers, and welfare recipient numbers have gone up! Maybe your party should spend another couple thousand for a study to tell you what the rest of us already know!

You are purposefully blind. Business exists to make money. If the business cannot exist without sucking on the taxpayer's teat, we do not need them. When I spend $5 K on equipment for my business, I have to pay sales tax. When a furniture plant spends a million dollars on equipment, they do not have to pay sales tax. Both businesses provide jobs, so what is the difference? Answer: I do not have the profit margin to bribe politicians, the furniture manufacturers association does have the margin to bribe them. My business is lean and unsubsidized. The others are fat and sucking tax subsidized welfare off the NC taxpayers. Same as race car owners. When I can no longer show a profit, I will close down. That is how I like it and how it should be. The business baby momas are killing the economy and the working people of this state.

I personally like Ted Cruz so far, he's a rising star within the party. I think we'll see Rand Paul running for the nomination in 2016, and could possible win to go head to head with Hillary. That being said, I really can't believe how hard the Cimmucrats are pushing Hillary, hasn't that horse died? Isn't there anybody else in the party that would make for a viable candidate? Between the Rulers lack of leadership and her lack of leadership in the Benghazi scandal, I would think she would be doomed but when you factor in the dumbing down of the dumbmasses, I guess anything is possible.

I agree with the first part of your rant but it was you and your party that was singing a different tune when it came to the auto bailouts.....remember, they were to big to fail?
As a small business, you don't receive the tax breaks that large corporations do because of money. It's not the money they spend to bribe as you suggested, it's the money they generate for the tax base. If your business was generating tens of millions of tax dollars for the state then you too would be offered breaks to come or stay. You call it "sucking tax subsides" but IF YOU were offered the same subsidies, you'd jump all over them!

Saying they generate tens of millions of dollars for the state is a stretch, particularly when you consider that they take even hundreds of millions in tax breaks, subsidies and forgiveness of property taxes. Everyone should pay the same sales tax rates .
