Hello Waco! It never occurred that anything I regularly read would have any relevance to the conversations I've had on this forum and boy, was I wrong! I just stumbled on this and could not resist rushing here to re-post it just for you. When you first spun this fable to me? I told you nothing of the sort ever happened...Period. '3 friends (well, one of them is a friend) of mine from my college days are on a lengthy visit to Ireland. They're all pretty big dudes.... played football during college (not a top college though) and are more prone to 'throw down'.

Well, turns out they were making fun of some "goofy looking fookers" (as my friend put it) and it ended up with them getting their asses beat. I guess the guys were kind of scraggly looking and appeared to be acting tough. So the 3 guys I know started making fun of them. There wasn't much exchanging of pleasantries and these 4 guys just started brawling right then and there with my friend(s).
My friend said "they didn't look like much", but, they were tough enough to beat 3 pretty big hombres.
One of the guys from my college was so shook up by it that he's flying back to america.

Anyway, it was shortly after that someone outside the bar said "just leave the travellers alone".

P.S. Some of the greatest boxers today and in history have been ITs (Irish Travellers) Bare-knuckle fighting originated in the Irish Traveller community as the only way to settle 'issues'. Lol and I agree. As you can see it has been pretty quiet on this forum today except for poor old Taxpayer who could probably hear himself echo. Lol. Must be a loose board in the pig pen today. Don't know where Waco is, the signed in one anyway. As I understand he is sometimes highly medicated for depression and severe bipolar disorder. After reading some of his posts you can see that it doesn't take rocket science to figure that one out:)
