People of Omaha, remember Ak sar ben - I was not for tearing it down, however I was wrong and look at the addition it made to UNO. Also many of us thought the Quest center was out of line, but what a wonder place it turned into. How about the fly over on Dodge. The people that drive it now are very greatful. Everything changes and I believe the downtown baseball stadium is the right way to go. The Zoo will be right there to enhance their program.. Omaha's zoo is known all over the United States and beyond.

The Rosenblatt is a landmark stadium, dear in the hearts of fans from all over this country. Fahey discounts the millions of taxpayer dollars spent securing the College World Series, and meeting NCAA demands. Omaha’s Tax & Spend Mayor wants to consolidate all of Omaha’s activities on the Riverfront to benefit his business cronies.
At the 2006 Worlds Championship Chili Cook off, finding suitable parking consumed over an hour because of the traffic congestion caused by that one attraction. Multiple events will compound the problem. It’s like putting ten pounds of crap in a five-pound bag.
Mayor Fahey will get his rewards, like Mayors and city officials in other states, who confiscate personal and private property with Condemnation by Eminent Domain, to benefit private business interests and themselves.
Fahey will not allow a public vote because he is in his “Legacy Building” phase, and it’s a sure bet that his name will grace at least one of the many costly projects he is forcing on Omaha’s Tax Slaves. Under Fahey’s Mayorship, Omaha has become Murder City, with 2-3 shootings nightly, and 2-3 fatalities per week, with no apparent end in sight. If that isn’t bad enough, summer will soon be here. That’s the one and only legacy Fahey should be concerned about!

Remember, if he's recalled, an election will be needed and that means additional city/county money. Think back to when P.J. Morgan left as mayor to join the private sector. Let's vote him out at the next election.

I agree with Joe. Why take action which will only result in more taxes? Let's just vote him out in the next election.

Speaking of taxes. Is anybody out there upset about the outrageous property taxes. My taxes have increased 110% since I bought my home not even 3 years ago!!

Screw this, whoever is for it is more than welcome to pay the tax increase that will occur on behalf of me. I can promise you this, if omaha builds this and tax goes up on entertainment, I will do all my dining out, movie watching, etc. outside of the city limits. Gretna and council bluffs are close.

What part of "Welcome to the College World Series in Indianapolis" or Oklahoma City, or Orlando do people not understand? There is no doubt in my mind that if the stadium is not built, the NCAA WILL MOVE the series. Is that what the people really want? Maybe so, but it is by far the BIGGEST event that comes to the city of Omaha each and every year. Losing the series will set a lot of hotels, restaurants, stores, etc., way back. There are a lot of big events at the Qwest Center, but nothing as big, or consistent, as the CWS. I went to Rosenblatt back in the day, but the past is the past. It is time to move forward. Look, they are tearing down Yankee-friggin' stadium to keep with the times. If they can do that to the biggest historical stadium in the world, I think Rosenblatt could be replaced. Also, as I understand a recall, doesn't there need to have been something ILLEGAL done? I have not seen, read, heard of anything illegal.

Why waist your time even trying to get 21000 to sign. There is 390,000 people in this city. I'm not the best at math but 21,000 is 1/18 of the population. How does that work. WAIST OFF TIME

The people trying to recall Mayor Mike should just quit. I'm sick of the residents of Elkhornaha trying to get their small town back. Face it you are now Omaha and it doesn't matter who the Mayor is it's not coming back. Move away if you don't like it maybe Gretna will take you morons in.
