<quoted text>I agree 100% with you! Here's the deal, it was my understanding that if a student had more than 40 absences and if they missed the first day of graduation practice they would not walk however this was not enforced. I feel not allowing those students not walk deprived their families. Parents had sent out invitations to family and friends......it's a shame. As parents we look forward to graduation day for our children; it's sort of a pat on the back for getting out children out of bed for 13 years, making sure they are clean, at school on time, and homework assignments completed. If rules are going to be set then it should have applied to the other offenders as well. The teenagers that was at ERHS that night did not possess any drugs, alcohol, or weapons and if they knew what lied ahead they probably wouldn't have gone up there. I was at graduation last night and eight of them were in there caps and gowns and stood overhead on the balcony. They were polite, not booing or making a scene.....THEY SHOULD HAVE WALKED and yes we should have chanted for them to walk. I am praying for those kids and their families for strength and guidance. I feel like taking graduation away from them is like running a race and with a few yards to go then someone moves the finish line. That's how I feel.
THEY BEHAVED AT GRADUATION,BECAUSE THEY WERE ALREADY IN TROUBLE,AND NOW THEY FACE BAD CHARGES.

"coldy williams korey fields chris coleman robert coleman michael miller payton elswick wes ray keath may also help but they run to the baseball field to"

Seriously? I know Wes Ray wasn't in on this prank because he was at home asleep. Though he was asked to help he decided not to because he is way smarter than to help pull a prank that the seniors were warned about earlier in the year.

Who's behavior was worse. The kids who did wrong but thought they were following a standing tradition and wanted to hang posters and write with chalk or the adults,eg....Brenda Collins gave them the key and then lied, Kevin Justice knew they were coming and when as far back as last year and lied, said he got a last minute tip, the deputy who threw 2 of the kids on the floor and cuffed one and put a gun to her head, Mr. Wagner for supporting this grandstanding, or the Sheriff for supporting his deputy for his crazy behavior. Makes me wonder who's behavior was worse. I also wonder what kind of behavior is being taught by the very people who are suppose to set examples. These were great examples to set. Condone an activity for years, even though it shouldn't have been and then behave like these kids were terrists or some kind of armed robbers. Things like this just make me wonder how is the biggest criminals???

I ABSOLUTELY AGREE!! this is rediculous! I personally cannot stand erhs my son graduated last year & I think the parents celebrate as much as the child! especially when er is concerned. they def need better guidance than what is being offered by a 40 year old principal who hasn't grown up himself! not trying to trash talk but come on ppl they were armed with a bucket of side walk chalk not knives or guns! give them some community service & let it go! most of these kids my son went to school with & they r good kids most even work jobs & go to school. my son worked a job, made straight A's & still got harassed by kevin justice. justice even went as far as bringing events that happened out of school, into the school! wished he would have had to appear on court day cuz he was made an a$$ of but oh yeah...he was unavailable that day....Hmmmmmm......just sayin "TIME FOR ERHS TO MAKE STAFFING CHANGES!!!!!

In this GRAND HEIST wasnt there some juveniles, does anyone know what they (Justice) wants for their punishment...since he took away EVERYTHING that the seniors worked 13yrs for,(that is to WALK ACROSS THAT STAGE AND SHAKE A SOB's HAND) what does he want from the juveniles??? The seniors 13 yr dream was their price, now what else could anyone ask for their punishment to be...maybe they can laugh about it someday...the way I will always see it is SHAME on the Principle and the Deputies...I dont think the seniors will lose their right to VOTE over this and that is what these young people should b schooled on now is to always VOTE...I just hope the parents dont vote for Fuzzy again...and also watch who u vote for next for the BOE...its politics here (the bottom of the barrel politics if u ask me) and one thing about it is these young people can change the future for us all and make a better place for the other young ones coming up....I will aways admire those seniors that stood behind their class and watch them walk across the stage...
