Local love story basis of reality TV show

Sabrina Hale wasn't about to fall in love with the wrong man. Not this time. Still bruised from a divorce that ended her 3 1/2-year marriage, the 25-year-old Bristol woman was suspicious of her feelings for a man she knew only through phone calls, e-mails, text messages and Internet chat sessions.

I knew Sabrina in Jr. High and H.S. she is a sweetheart very nice person very likeable. I just hope this guy is who he says he is. I worry about her. Hopefully it works out!

As if marriage isn't work enough, you add the element of a divorce, never spending a minute together, and the fact that there could be completely NO physical attraction. What a shame that their taking something as sacred as marriage and making it into a cliche reality show. Is there no end to what people will do to get famous? Sadly, I don't see this one working out.

I find it a little interesting to read the description of the show online (myspace) and then to hear the interview with Sabrina on the radio. The description sounds awesome! Totally right on with what Christians believe about marriage...that it is awesome and given to us by God! The radio show, however, paints a picture of a girl who seems to not really know what she wants, needs, but mostly doesn't know the calling the Lord has on her life. She seems lost, and totally drawn in to the comments made by the hosts instead of being a light in the darkness. Even her fiancee, who starts out well, makes some remarks that are questionable.

Sabrina, I am praying for you and hoping everything works out for you! I hope for you that this is the right thing and that I am wrong. I hope that you use your music and this platform to reach others for the Lord. I hope you stand out as a person who is different than other "celebs." You are sweet, kind, precious to the Lord, talented and beautiful. Use those gifts He has given you for His good...I know you will!

Well said, "a friend." Does anyone know if the wedding actually happened? It was supposed to be filmed on Sunday, and I haven't read any follow-up anywhere online yet. I go to church with Sabrina (or did, I'm assuming she's moving to Cali), but haven't heard yet, and me and my friends are dying to know.
