Why are small towns so bad says "savesmalltowns," maybe it is just the people who run them. In Bristol the town manger and the geriatric town council who front for him run the town. "why do some want to make us a mega-industrial area," it's all about the money.

Posting at 12:30 when I need to be up at 5:30 is crazy but Robert Weed is running something loud these last two weeks. May have to invest in some sleeping pills or make it my mission to see if anyone is willing to backup our noise ordinance.

I would be so happy if the town would consider the Goshen sound level limit. It would send a message to the community that they care about Bristol residents. After further research today I can confirm a couple of facts: that the decibels are not within the 85 required and it is very possible that OSHA also knows this. Daytime sound is much lower than night and it is dependent on what is running. I also managed to talk to a few of the people that signed the petition and they could only laugh when they heard that the town thinks that the "changes made" have them 85% satisfied. They wondered what changes? They also stated no change in noise for them has occurred. In addition, they said many have given R.W. an earful (no punt indented). Would anyone know if Robert Weed is up for sale? I'm almost sure that it was not the Attorney that stated the decibel reading but the Town Manager and Tom Stutsman after fumbling around for an answer. I only wanted honest answers and once again I am reminded of my naiveté.

Oh my god!!!! I'm wondering how many more hefty people Dempster is going to have on Bristol Fire. But then again, Dempster sure isn't setting a good positive example himself. Loose some weight, and cut your hair, and leave the young ladies on the department along. They know what they have to do to move up on Dempster Fire, oop's, I ment Bristol Fire.....

I'm still not sure how the fire department gets brought in on a report of shots fired. But somebody has a big problem with the FD maybe you should man up and go down there and tell them how you feel or you can keep whining like a fat little girl on here. If you want to make a change on the department put your app in but I don't think you'll get on you can't spell to save your life or anyone else's.

Oh yeah I'd like to thank the fire department for a great party. I hope they do it next year!

I'd like to know who used my name. I did not post on Thursday July 17th. I really think it is sad that some of you bitch but are not willing to do anything to make it right. It is really easy to sit on a computer and complain, but much harder to do something positive.

I agree with you. Some people just want to whine and be anonymous rather than do something about it.
