WOW!!! this is ridiculous!!! who gave you all the right to pass judgement on others? you would really blame others for something their family had done over 10 years ago?! as for Dustin, he admitted he had a problem...SO WHAT!!! It was a long time ago and he is trying to make himself better. I honestly think you all need to find something better to do with your time than gossip about things and people that you know nothing about.

I would also like to add: why is it so important about my brothers past? anyone who knows me knows that my family and are strong and kind. We moved on. Why haven't you. If you live in the past, you aren't worth the future. This is New Athens for ya. People have nothing better to do than to sit around and talk trash. People judge others for the things that other people do and it's wrong. Whoever wrote that should take a look at their own life..oh I forgot..they obviously don't have a life.I bet they aren't perfect either nor do they have a perfect family and friends. May I ask what exactly your arguement is here? Nothing of what you wrote makes any sense and you are jumping all over the place. Are you mad because someone called New Athens out or are you mad because someone defended Dustin and the Mathis family? New Athens is exactly what that person said it is and either you are not from New Athens, you are completely retarded, or you live in a bubble! Yes, other places have the same problem but New Athens is a little town of 2000 people so that makes it pretty bad because it's a little hick town. Look at all of the other posts on this site and you my friend will see that there are far more worse things said about New Athens. That comment about Dustin the drug addict and Mathis the murderer was cruel! It was obviously made by someone from New Athens for the person to know who both of them are. You can't judge someone just because their brother did something all them years ago and as for Dustin, he has changed! People from New Athens that know both of them just don't let it go! Next time you want to get on here and bash someone for defending someone who is innocent and didn't deserve this crap, maybe you should think again. Oh and by the way, when you want to start with accusations and name calling, make sure you check your spelling. "how hypocritic of you" lol. I don`t see anything wrong with what You Go Girl said and I do agree that this Narrow Minded character is clueless and making no sense whats-so-ever. Karen I am sorry that someone wrote them horrible things about you guys. If people only knew you guys they would know that you are both good people and good parents. What did you go girl post that was so bad and why call them a hypocrite? Do you know what hyprocrite even means? I`m confused on why you got so defensive about what they said. It`s a small town & people talk. That`s common in a small town. I only see one post on here from them so educate me on what you are talking about. I am very very proud of Dustin and Karen. They are great and adore their little boy. I just pray when their son grows up all this prejudice and meaness will not affect him. I am sure it won't as Karen and Dustin will raise him to become a strong and accepting little man. We love all you guys! You're doing.great, keep it up!
