Well this has seemed to get a bit tired hasnt it. Ran out of gas have we? No more quips and jabs? No tongue lashing and nashing of teeth? Your about as tired as the whole story has become, I think Hadrian had the wall built in a shorter time span than this project. But keep believing I am sure it will happen, trust, faith, lots of dues increases and fees will get that sucker built.
One thing has not changed I guess.....Your still a dope.

I am very unhappy at Fitness zone. I signed the membership because I was told that their prices would go up when the new building was completed and that it would be best to sign up now. This was last year and was promised a new fitness center in August of this year. I feel scammed and I would not recommend this gym to anyone. I looked at the YMCA in Elk River it is very nice and I will most likely be taking my business there.

Well, Stewie joined the YMCA as well, nice place, pool, better weights, machines, cardio, cleaner, better lighting, showers, hot tub, volley ball, basket ball ect. Just a nicer place to be all around. The staff is wonderful and helpful. The big thing is its better for families, children ect, instead of limited hours and nothing to do, they have tons of activities going on all the time. But I am sure 101 will move soon, new digs, big programs, it will be beautiful,,,,,,,,,,,soon.

Just loving the YMCA these days, nice hot tub, kids go swimming, clean locker rooms, towels, the list goes on and on.

Just wondering when this new club is coming? I see nothing happening, does the club still take out improvement dues for a club thats not going to be built> did they re-do all the contracts that will never happen? did they really think that creating all kinds of excitement with out begining construction wouldnt blow up in their face? Didnt enough people tell them them the builder was not someone to work with that it sunk in? But I am sure he had his attorneys look at their paper work and I am sure that no one else who sued them ever did, nah your way tooooo smart.

Well, It's not really about the prizes. It's about supporting your gym..and the gym trying to give you motivation to stay fit and healthy. Who cares what the prizes's a gym. Go out there and work out, sweat, loose weight, add muscle...It's the accomplishment that should mean something to you. Sure, if the prizes were bigger and better maybe you would have more determination. But like I said, the prize here is your acheivement.

now they are offering a class,,,,,,that as a member you have already paid for, and calling it a duathon????? and charging you more for it. The prizes,,,,,,,,are non prizes, free member ship for 3 months,,,,,if your already a member, no deal for you a free .47 cent water bottle, 10 cent towel, and 5 dollar bag that should really cost 25 cents, cause its a piece of crap too. Big deal, its just another lets make some more money charging stupid people for something they all ready pay for. Perfect.

Maybe if we had more people supporting Fitness 101 they could actually build that dream gym. The people there are wonderful. The staff is great. I bring my kids there all the time and they love it. They know all the kids there and the staff. It's like a family away from home. Sure, it may be a little dirtier and not as nicely lit as other gyms..or have as many amenities, but atleast their staff is great and many many people have seen great results. The trainers are great and very supportive.

No new gym, prices increased Because of this new gym - now there's too many people, not enough machines nor room. The staff has no idea how to run billing or fix insurance related issues, and half the time is not there - all I hear is on vacation (the person you NEED to speak with). The younger staff is rude. The classes keep changing, once again - too many people, not enough equipment, gym will not respond to requests for a class to have more times available. I will not recommend this place, or continue my business with them when my contract is done.

Has anybody checked out the new The Gym in Elk River? I used it for eleven years and was awsome. I moved and can't use it. Which is a real bummer. No waiting and has tons of wgts and equipment.
