Just to let everyone know there will be a candlelight vigil in Sayre, OK. on Nov. 20, 2009 at 6PM-7PM for missing children.

The focus will be for the three teens who went missing 39 years ago and have never been heard from since.

**On the night of November 20, 1970, Jimmy Allen Williams, Thomas Michael Rios, and Leah Gail Johnson were riding around Sayre, Oklahoma in Jimmy's 1969 Chevrolet Camaro. When Jimmy left home for the evening he was supposed to be going to a football game in Elk City, Oklahoma. The possibility exists that he was going to go hunting on Turkey Creek Road with Thomas Micheal Rios and Leah Gail Johnson. All three kids never came home that night, and have not been located since. Also the 1969 Camaro has never been located either.**

If you have any information about this case please contact the local sheriff dept. or you can refer to Sayre topix - Sayre's Dark Secrets. There are emails where you can remain annonymous and tell your story.

Please set aside the time to attend this event for not only these three missing teens but for all the missing children throughout this area.

This is a good thing you all are doing and about time too.

There has been a lax in service in the officials around here taking any missing person seriously. Most think "Oh, that's good ol' boy's kid, they'll be back" and then weeks, months, even years later someone remembers and tries to investigate but, by that time, it is usually too late.

I plan to be at this vigil and I hope several will come in honor of these three teenagers, as well as, all the other missing kids that have been forgotten.

Let's all show our support to these families and friends and be there...It's important!!

We should all get involved in this. I got some of the details about these kids from a friend a while back and I'm surprised that I never heard about this when I was growing up.

the vigil is actually for all missing and unsolved murders, not just these, that has been stated in the forum before

JUST SAYING

there was a dead baby left in a back yard in Elk City about 30 years ago. That is still unsolved.

Is there any information on the web etc. about that case? It would be nice to make mention of this case at the vigil, too.

Okay I thought this was suppose to be about missing kids not a forum where you just come on here trying to pick a fight. Look at the big picture people there are missing children all over the world try to stay focused on the topic at hand it is something we should all most definitely be concerned about

Let me make this perfectly clear to you or taxi driver or anyone else with other plans for this vigil. The people that I know who have worked very hard to make this happen will not stand for anybody coming in trying to promote their own agendas. This is a Candlelight Vigil for Missing Children and that is all. If taxi or anyone else wants to further their causes this is not the place nor the time to do it.

You didn't answer the question that I simply asked. Bomba was the one asking me for help promoting this moodymother. I had no intention on giving a speech on corruption while I was there and I think that might be a three day event. What is your feeling about how the police have handled this inquiry on these kids and how do you feel about our county being ran like a rodeo. An army of informants all selling dope and not caring if the dope gets into the hands of children. As long as they have money the people in control of this county could care less who is getting the dope.WE CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT I PROMISE
