Bars in Elk City?

nahhh,,,,,those 2 suck...... the endzone is where all the drug addicts hang out,,,and the pitstop is where the dirty drunks hang out..been to both of them.....Spurs is a nice country and western club,,they have 2 good locals bands who play there on weekends...now if yur young ya can hang out at the country palace,,,they love to start fights out there.....trust me the cops love watching that one and the endzone........

Ya Ive had to pick up friends after i got off of work from the country palace .And there was five cops setting there.They were just waiting for you to pull out of the parking lot.

The only place that we like to go is Spurs. It is the only decent place to dance and have a drink. You might also try Friends, in Canute. No dancing, just pool and drinks, big screens and great pizza.

Whoa hold on there. I hang out at the EndZone and run into just as many drug addicts there as I do at any other bar and as far as fights go there has been a few but it kinda common in any bar, you got to remember beer and fight go hand in hand.

of course the palace is a good bar, do we remember why it shut down for almost a month. Plus I have had the best watered down drinks in that bar to. Oh yeah the mace was fun too.

well, last time i was in spurs the bartender looked like she was so spun her eyes were gonna pop out of her head!! when i want a nice quiet time of playin pool and socializing with my friends i like the endzone, and i dont see any more druggies in there than i do at walmart any given day!! lol wake up, they are all over this town these days! i do have to agree about dirty drunks at the pitstop, but i must say those 'dirty' drunks are also probably druggies! and yes, the crowd at the palace is young, but it is the only place to go to 'let down your hair' these days. and for the record, there are totally different (and drug free) people running that place than when it was shut down months ago-and now they have stand up comedy night on thursdays with no cover!!

the palace was never shut down, the owner decided to close, i know for a fact, i know the guy personally for 15 years, the owner of the palace is drug free and has always been, he just has alot of money, the palace still has the same owner it has always had for the last 10 years

hahaha...always been drug free?! lmao thats a good one, but i will leave it at that. the palace building does have the same owner but he is not the one running the business now....as for 10 years....he hasnt owned it for that long, im not sure of the exact amount of time, but i do know it hasnt been 10 years.

Shut down or forced to close, however you want to describe it, And just because you say he is drug free, does not mean you can't get them out there. There are all kinds of trash like that in this town. I hope he is drug free, You can't run a respectful business in this town if your not, and not expect to be harassed, in some way shape or form. I don't understand the money comment, just because he has alot of money doesn't make him any better of a person than a guy with no money. It also don't explain away the allegations the state had. Also have heard the one in canute on the out side of town is being watched pretty closely. Elk City has been a good town to live in, and if you think the owners of these bars in town don't bust their ass, to make their establishment presentable to the public, and to avoid criticism like this forum, your crazy. The fights the druggies and the mess of trouble these owners have to deal with, you can't get rid of all the problems.
