I'm needing to put my grandmother in a nursing home. I've heard good and bad about both in this town. Which one do you recommend?

Everyone is going to have their opinions about which home is or isn't the best. I've worked in Methodist to the sterling house in Weatherford to the ones in elk city. Every place has their good nurses and bad nurses. I don't think there will ever be a perfect nursing home to put your loved one in.

Have worked in a nursing home and the one that might be the best in Cordell, if it is still going. Look online at the state reports.

Actually bell has a new administrative team that is strsightening the place out. They just had survey and didn't get a single care defiency. That is public record, so check it out for yourself. As far as the person looking for a home to place their loved one, I hope that you find a place that is right for your loved one!

If bells staff is the same staff that was there 2 months ago, they are the rudest people I've ever seen.

Any corporate owned for profit nursing home is going to be totally inadequate. All the corporations care about is the money they make. Yes, Cordell Christian Home is where you will receive the best care for your loved one, although it is not a fancy place, they do have a lot of heart and love the patients. I have also heard Corn Heritage Village is very good also.

ECNH has new administrative staff that are making a lot of good changes! It is a loving, fun, and comfortable environment!!! You won't find a perfect home but if you can find a place where the employees care and love your loved one your in good shape! ECNH is that home!!! No need for trash talk just state the facts!

. Well what do u expect for it to smell like roses?? Anyways It does not stink at all I'm satisfied when I go in there. And bell is way far from being the cleanest! And I think most of bells staff has drug issues there so it not a good place one of the people that work there just recently got put in red rock! And if u see some of the aides check em out too! But Ecnh is a great place and the staff are excellent! There is a blonde tall ladythere that can get really ugly towards the residents but she is the only one the rest are great!
