Best pre-k/Elementary school

Okay, so I am moving to elk city in like 2 weeks and my kids are in pre-k now. I just wanted to know which schools are better to go with. I've heard Pioneer is a good school but I also hear that Merritt is a great district as a whole. Please give me some input. Also my son is taking speech therapy because he isn't taking much and I know Pioneer offers a program for him. Inputs please! Thank you

My kids go to elk city and we loved pioneer. Not sure about their speech therapy program though. We also had excellent experiences at northeast (1st & 2nd grade) however Fairview (3rd & 4th) has not impressed me at all. It does seem to be a little better this year with the new teachers though. I do know that Merritt's speech therapy program worked wonders for my cousins little one. Unfortunately if you live in Elk City school district you probably won't be able to enroll in Merritt. Elk city had an awesome education program, they are strict but ahead of the small schools around them. The uniforms not everyone likes, I think they are great. They make the kids look very nice and prepares them better for adulthood.

Pioneer has Speech Therapy as well as a Developmental Delayed Preschool which he might qualify for. Go to Director of Special Services and ask for a full evaluation. If he does not talk, bet he can get into the DD class for such great help. He would get Speech besides the class.
