Cardinal Health is an excellent place to work. Yes they are strict about their schedules, but they pay you to go to work and have people lined up out the door trying to get in that place, so if you aren't going to make your shift regardless of situations they will find someone who will. Then again, if you know of a situation that is coming up they give you plenty of paid time off that you can schedule (starting I believe it's in the neighborhood of 19 days). They give excellent pay, and benefits including a 401k, health insurance, and when the weather is bad they provide you with a hotel for the night if it's not safe for you to get all the way home, and cater lunch the next day. Just know that if you want to apply you pretty much need at LEAST a associate's degree at this point. Yes the minimum requirements are a high school diploma or high school equivalency test, but so many people are applying there that it's near impossible to get in without at least an associates degree, or a bachelor's degree of some sort. I would apply there if you are a hard worker and can make arrangements for babysitters quickly if your child is too sick to go to school or daycare. It's a great job to get if you're willing to be there and work.
