This is the only hospital I have ever used. They are the nicest. Prices are good and they take excellent care of your pet. They are all nice but Dr. Bailey is exceptional. Thanks to the all I wouldn't take my pets any where else. I use to have a farm and they always come out and did what was needed. Tfhey cannot save them all but I know they try. Again Thanks.

I am a bit newer to the area and have visited all the hospitals in the area. I have found that Etown animal hospital is by far the nicest veterinarian around and with the most resonable prices. I have been to Hartland and helmwood and got nothing but attitude as well as anytime I needed my dog to be seen, it was days before I could get in. Hartland was really mean and rude and acted like I knew nothing about my dogs which I breed and show. E-town animal hospital: I have had no problems with whatsoever and will continue using them for as long as they are in business. Really the only thing I would like to change is the more needy dogs need to go first. I have witnessed dogs in distress or in labor having difficulty having to wait while dogs that just need shots went first. I think if a dog comes in as an emergency, it should be first in line regardless. No complaints though here. sorry for everyones loss.

This is the only place I take my animals. (E'town Animal Hospital that is). All of my family take their animals and have done so as far as I can recall. I love the doctors there and they give me very good information about the care of my both breeds of my dogs. MOST of the staff is awesome. However there is one particular person I dread seeing everytime I go in there... thank goodness she has nothing to do with the care of my animals and normally I only have to see her as I am walking out the door.

They saved my wife's puppy several years back. It had parvo and they saved him. He went on to live for 15yrs and the day they had to put him down even the vets teared up. They do care and every pet that walks in that door they treat as if it is their own pet, which surprises me considering some of the people that come in there are a-holes to the vets and the other workers employed there.

I have been a groomer off and on for E'town Animal Hospital and I honestly think that the vets there, especially Dr J Yates is one of the best I've seen. I've been in the profession for over 10 years and have dealt with several vets with my rescue dogs and cats and he is very passionate and caring. He is the same in front of you as he is in the surgery room. You should be greatful for him treating your animals.

This hospital is good and bad I had a pitbull and he was dieing in my arms there and they would absolutely not rush him in they made me wait 3 hours before they would see him and he was dehydrated but after they seen him told me he had parvovirus they let me sit with him awhile longer then he passed on I felt like my world fell apart but they where nice let me cry for as long as I needed but there was a horrible lady in the back at the register she was so hateful!!! Rip my baby!

We have been taking our dogs there for years and I have no complaints except one. The lady with the glasses that stands behind the cash register is really rude, mean and nasty. It would be a perfect place if she wasn't there.

Elizabethtown Animal Hosppital has always been a place that I've trusted with my pets. However, during this last episode that we've needed them I have to say that Dr. Jeremy Yates went above and beyond what his job calls for. When my daughter's 5 1/2 poodle puppy CJ, whom she'd raised from a week old, had what led to a fatal injury, we called ahead and rushed her in. It was after hours but Dr. Jeremy Yates was there to meet us. He looked the baby over and decided that he would take her home with him that night. For the next few days it was touch and go for this puppy. We were so touched when Dr. Yates again took her home, for the weekend this time, in order to be able to keep a closer eye on her.
We know that he did everything he could to save her. CJ could not have had better care than what she received from Dr. Jeremy and I hope he knows just how grateful we are to him.
I urge anyone anyone unsure of where to go for the treatment of their pets not to hesitate in bringing them to E-Town animal hospital. I have been taking my animals there for many years with the utmost confidence that they were in good hands. But never had I seen such an act of devotion and love Dr. Jeremy portrayed while caring for CJ. That dedication tells the whole story of what the E-Town vet clinic is all about, dedication, love and the willingness to go the distance when caring for your pets. Thank you Dr. Jeremy!

I agree!!! I have been going to Elizabethtown Animal Hospital for years, and I have to say the lady in the back at the register is so rude and hateful. That's the only part I dread about my visits! Maybe someone needs to complain. I thought the first few times I was in there, maybe she was having a bad day, but it's everytime you go.

Oh...I forgot to mention, Jeremy Yates has been nothing but wonderful to me and my dogs. He doesn't rush us, always gives me plenty of time to ask him questions. He's the most caring veterinarian I've ever been to.

I was there yesterday and as usual they are just so nice. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. The only complaint I have is they are so busy and the place is too small but guess what, they have that taken care of with the opening of the new site soon....

I LOVE them. I have taken my babies to them for years. They just awesome and so are the ladys that work there. I have never been treated bad or rude. In fact I had a puppy that would of died if Dr. Bailey had not seen us and run out to the parking to get the puppy. They are busy so you that tells you that people do like and trust them.

I am very disappointed with them and we left there six years ago due to the total lack of care and compassion. When Zuri, my dobie, became sick in August of 2004, we called the emergency line and were told that it would cost $200 just to open the clinic. Well, duh! I did not expect it would be free. He was treated that night and came back the next day for tests. Right off the bat, Dr. Bailey told me that dobies are predisposed to cardiomyopathy. I just told him do your tests first and then tell me what is wrong with my dog. Basically, he was written off because he is an older dog. The day before he died, I tried to get a hold of the vet to see if the heartmed can be taken at night and this way he would have an appetite and eat during the day which he had stopped eating. I was on hold for almost 30 minutes and never got to talk to a vet. Next morning, Zuri died in my arms. Monday, Dr. Thomas called and asked if anyone called us back Saturday. We said no and said he had passed away. I still can't believe what we were told next: Well, I'll talk to you later then. I asked my husband what the HELL did he just say??? We just lost our dog!!! Needless to say, we never went back. Renegade had a skin condition he picked up while he was missing for a week and all they did was give him steroids which, we were told later by another vet, only covered up the problem. They are nothing but butchers!!!

Okay people pets do at times die. No matter how or who is treating them. However the staff at E-town Animal is the best you will find. They are always kind and helpful with any questions I have ever had or any after midnight emergencies trust me my dogs are my babies and I have been through trachea, enlarged heart, chocolate & poison issue's. I wish that I could find a people's doctor that gave the same kind of care. Dr. Brown is also a fine vet but I just seemed to get that little extra 20 years ago from Dr's. Gore & Yates and now the same from the next generation.

I love E'town Animal Hospital. I also know that things like this happen with EVERY vet...sometimes things just don't work out or someone makes a mistake. I would be upset too if the mistake was made with my pets life. I have been to several veterinary clinics in Hardin Co and, for the most part, EAH is by far the best place. I'm not saying that the others aren't good vets but they seem to act as though you are just stupid if you think any other way than they do! I always ended up getting a lot of unnecessary shots, etc. at those vets and paid way too much for basic services. I just do not think you can beat EAH for your pets care.

Several years ago my cat started acting funny on New Year's Eve. I suspected it was a urinary blockage and called the vet. Dr. Jeremy was on call and listened very carefully to my explanation and then asked my to bring my boy in. I felt so bad and apologized over and over, but Jeremy was very kind and reassured me that he was doing his job. Oscar is alive and well today because he recieved treatment that night. There are many other stories I could tell about EAH and what they have done for me. I will continue to use their service. And in defense of the employee that everyone says is rude. She is gruff, but I think that she does have a compassionate heart. I have seen it many times.

For those of you that have had a bad experience and lost a pet, I am deeply sorry. I am a pet owner myself, and I understand how you feel. However, I have been to several different animal hospitals, and I have never seen a group of people so caring. I have been to the ones that raise the prices so much that you cant afford to take your pet there, and then you have the ones that keep their prices lower so that the average family can afford to have a pet. In a way, they do us a favor. Without Etown Animal Hospital, I could not afford to keep my beloved pets. They do see alot of people, and they are fast paced, so maybe some of you should go to one that can spend extended amounts of time with your pet. As far as their employees go, they have their good ones, like the ones in where you check in, but the one that takes your money, really needs to look at a career change. Just my opinion!
