Yeah their doing ok and ky bank is too but they are not nearly as large as FF. First Federal is nationally traded on the stock market, those 2 banks are just small town piddly banks, FF is alot bigger, they have branches is louisville and Indiana 25 all together, so they are much bigger than any other of the small town banks. They take bigger risk, cecilia and ky banks stay small and don't really risk anything.

KNB is doing very well! I know this for a fact. I am a stockholder, and I know the ends and outs of the bank. They are very strong, small but strong.

First Federal will likely survive but not until they get rid of a few people. Particularly CEO Keith Johnson and the chief lending officer Larry Hawkins. Larry Hawkins made bad decision after bad decision to approve and bring in loans while Mr. Johnson just sat back and watched and let him do whatever. Not the qualities you look for in a good leader.

The Board of Directors is also to blame for this because they just merely rubber-stamped all of these loans and sat back and have done nothing. Investors have lost large amounts of money due to their negligence. The loan officers merely did what they were asked to do, bring in new business. Of course, all blame has been shifted to those people so the leaders could keep their jobs.

Mr. Johnson and Mr. Hawkins days are numbered and their dismissals are well deserved. New leadership must be brought in to right the ship.
