Go hang out at wal mart parking lot with there shit cars saying mines faster than yours. Being sluts that's male and female. Starting fires or causing trouble like they are bad ass gangsters. This is all because there nothing for them to do and here's the kicker louisville for a bigger city don't have much to offer either. Now a real city like Chicago, new York or Nashville has shit to. My advice leave the damn nest go somewhere explore life before you become Kentucky trash with a son named Bubba joe or Hank. Run run while you can I'm leaving next month for miami so run kids don't be scared leave mamma and daddy. Oh and there's cooler people there to

Hardin County doesn't believe in the future of this age group. They won't offer anything for you because they only want you to go to college to get you off the street. My son is into drawing concept art and playing music. There is nothing around here for these things. In Chicago they offer small eateries and coffee house type places for teens to gather and discuss books or play music, read poetry and such.Kind of a retro thing but some teens really do enjoy these things. Sad about being here. Glad it' only a temporary move for us.

Do drugs, drink alcohol, sell drugs for money to buy more drugs and alcohol, live off mommy and daddy, make babies that they make no effort to care for. Wash rinse repeat.

The stupidity of this town speaks for itself. If you play music and read poetry you are automatically gay. If you are from a big city you are gay. The ignorance of people on this forum is enough to show you this town has no future for young kids. Not all 19 year olds want to go to college, and if they do they don't go 24/7. All people around here want to do is drink, drink, drink. Big deal. Everybody doesn't want to drink alcohol for a good time.

I have noticed all the negative things being said on this topix. I'm just curious. Has anyone attempted to bring up the matter anywhere except on topix forum? All the gay bashing, teen bashing, alcohol bashing is setting a bad example for our teens. True not all kids want to go to college, not everyone drinks, but it seems the 15-20 age crowd really do not have many options available. I don't believe because you read poetry, play music and such makes you gay.If it does, well I must be then. I don't believe Elizabethtown is a bad place either. They are just investing in what they know will bring in the quickest, most amount of monies. Perhaps Revitalize Downtown will offer some venues that the younger crowds can enjoy. Let's put some positive attitude on all this instead of all the above negative remarks. Topix can be an awesome tool for everyone if used appropriately.:)

Response for been watching I agree with your statement except that this town does not care about the arts or any activitys for young adults. This is a Commonwealth if it's not making money for government they don't care. Kentucky is the cancer of the united states. Furthermore look at topix in any other city it's not as bad as ours nothing but losers on here

its obvious the point being made is that between the churches wanting anything for teens to do or gather closed because it's more fun then church and they might not go instead of trusting them to just meet up to talk or whatever think all they'll do is have sex; to the red necks who think this place is the end all to be all and never want to leave and think dirty cloths, spitting tobacco, running things over in trucks, flying the confederate flag not for history sake but for racist sake and being as obnoxious as possible a way of life makes this place a shitty place to live. even e'towns tourist brochure says there is nothing here, but we're "in the center of it all." so everybody else has something to see, but we don't have anything but high priced real estate, restaurants, car dealerships, department stores and of course churches. so if anything...go to your precious Wal-Mart and see about getting a new life and use it to see something other then hardin county. then maybe...just maybe you'll see how small minded this town is, how little it offers and how ridiculous it is.
