You really need to check yourself before God and your beliefs, Ikit. People wonder why I "turned my back on God" but it's not God I turned my back on, it's people like you who think that because they go to church on Sundays they are entitled to some sort of respect the rest of us don't deserve. You think that God rewards a prideful heart? You need to humble yourself big time if you really believe. We all sin the same color.

Not to mention that telling anyone that their parents regret having them, or don't love them is completely nieve and an outright lie. If you have children, I pity them. How could you say this about a stranger if you didn't feel that way about your own kids?
Or perhaps it is you who should recieve the sympathy. Were your parents so strict and judgmental that they brought you up to be this condescending, self righteous bigot? Or did some life event happen along the way for you to hold on to so much hatred for the rest of the world?

There is "meth" everywhere. Doctors put your children on it for ADHD. Adderol, riddlin, vyvance... it all boils down to "dextro-amphetamines ". ADHD medicine compares to Meth with a similar chemical makeup only without having been cooked in a nasty basement or trailer and instead, being produced by the government. It doesn't make your teeth rot out or your brain to decompose- though Riddlin has been linked to early development of Parkinsons disease.(forgive me if I spelled that wrong.)

My point is that some of these people are self medicating. They need help, not criticism.
Adult ADHD runs in my family. My dad is not medicated and can't get a complete sentence out for at least half an hour because of his random changing of subject matter. My blood aunt and uncle also have ADHD and they are the family members stuck on meth. My grandma- Dad's mom- is just the same as my dad when it comes to staying on topic...

With this much family history, after 2 car accidents due to being distracted (once by another wreck and the other, by a bird- or perhaps the sunrise... Possibly both) my doctor and I decided to try the medication. It's worked wonders for me. I've got my life in order. I keep up with my responsibilities. My house stays clean... And not a single accident since.

However... On the note of giving the medicine to kids... Kids are kids. They're supposed to be hyper, running around and having a great ol' time. It's called "playing"... It's lazy parents and a government that won't mind it's own business that is causing problems with children these days. Parents don't even raise their kids anymore. Schools do. The government does... And the government has done such a lovely job of not screwing up everything else in the world... Why not trust them with our kids?

Sorry about the tangent, guys. I have little tolerance for "Christians" with fat heads. I won't lie... I got pretty fired up when I read Ikit say, they "call Christians like myself square..." And whatever the rest of their comment was...
First off, I would have left God in the corner where you had him when you started calling people names and wishing them dead. Bringing God into it now only makes you look like a complete hypocrite. I imagine Ikit is very happy that Topix lets you choose to be anonymous. You, my friend, need more prayers than the people addicted to meth! At least most of them know they have a problem... You're on a path marching strait into doom and you've got your head held high...

For Christ's sake! If you're gonna claim to be a Christian, READ YOUR FRIGGIN BIBLE!

I'm done.
Sorry to all the non-Christians that sat through that.

I too have suffered the damages meth can cause ... It definitely is a monster , a haunting gargoyle , a black cloud. I'm thinking I'm going to have to move again just to hopefully find a place that it does not occupy. It makes sense why people in the area are so bitter and cold.

See, I don't get the "bitter and cold" feeling off of people here.(I'm from the north though. If you think people here are bad, avoid Ohio completely.) I do feel a lot of hurt from people here. The people here work hard for little appreciation... And kindness is contageous. Smiles generate warmth. Of course, approaching the commercial holidays, people will grow either more irritable or more kind... Hopefully the latter...
I've taken to talking to random strangers in the grocery, helping elderly into their cars when I see them struggling... Why does no one do this any more? I watched three people walk by this elderly woman with a cane and a shopping cart trying to get the cart to not roll into her car so she could get her groceries into her car without falling. After talking to the woman, I found she had just had hip surgery. Kudos to the strength that woman has. It's inspiring.
And I didn't do this for people to see that I was doing it. I didn't do it with the intention of "bragging" online. I did it because a fellow human being needed help that I could provide.

Back to drugs- if you're looking to get away from meth, you should be aware of this new drug called crocodile. It's from Russia. It's a synthetic heroine... It eats away at the flesh where the victims inject the drug and it's highly addictive.
People should also beware of the dangers of "Spice" nowa days. I heard from a friend of mine that was with one of her friends while they smoked it and she said they were like they were asleep, but awake. Pure comatose... On chemicals that no one knows what theu'll do to the body...
Yeah... Meth is the least of my worries right now. I'd be keeping an eye out on these new drugs though. Spice because it keeps changing and seems to be getting more and more intense and addictive to the users and this crocodile drug because it's already killed and hospitalized thousands in Russia... If you have the stomach for it, look up some of the pictures online... The fact that there are new drugs coming out in my lifetime is terrifying to me.... What world will my children inherit?

It's really hard to tell whether or not you're a Christian from the way you talk about others. I'm sure Jesus would be proud of you, calling others idiots, wishing them to overdose for your peace of mind. Perhaps you should think before speaking- ot typing in this case...
Drugs have their uses. Personally, I'm pro legalization of the naturally occurring drugs... Marijuana being the big one, but if you're a true equalist, cocaine and opium are both naturally occurring drugs... And all of them are used in pharmaceuticals today.
I've seen families destroyed by meth. My family, actually. I've also seen MY family destroyed by child molestors too... Guess which one is easier to bounce back from?
I don't mind people that do drugs. We all do some kind of drug... Caffeine sound familiar? How about diet soda? What about Tylenol?
I believe that we, as a community, could do much better if one would stop pointing fingers at the other. Instead of complain about someone you apparently know that is doing drugs, why don't you go talk to them, invite them to do something fun with you like get a pedicure, go for a walk, have coffee (oh, wait, caffeine! So that's out...)
I'm positive you'll find more progress in a positive approach than a negative one...
Are you out of your mind??? Or perhaps burnt out from drugs. You are going to compare the use of tylenol and the consumption of caffiene products to the use of meth?? I am sorry, drinking tea or taking tylenol never caused me to take away from my family. Drug addicts only care about their next fix. Funny I never get that need for "a fix" from taking tylenol or drinking tea. I never feel the need to take money from my family and buy drugs instead of food, clothing or providing the basic needs for my children. I never feel the need to leave my kids with whoever will watch them while I go out and party with my drug buddies. Funny how tylenol and caffiene products just don't seem to have the same effect on our families as say, meth, cocaine, herion.........

I agree, meth is great. My favorite thing about using meth is the increased productivity. I get all of my papers done on time and my work is no longer sloppy.
I feel like I can run a marathon, go to work, come home and copy the phone book and still have enough left in the tank to go out at night. Any one who says meth is bad clearly has never used it. I guarantee you that the ones criticizing it can't say no to a carton of cigarettes or a bottle though! lol have fun with your real health problems, hypocrites
I used meth for years. And oh yeah it was GREAT. Especially when my hair started falling out. Oh and the hallucinations! Let me tell you! Woo boy. And lets not forget the sores it caused on my skin. Or the fun fact that I have a damaged heart from it. And a damaged pulmonary system from breathing in the amonia when I cooked it. And the permenant brain damage from years of using it! Too bad Ive been clean for 10 years cause I sure do miss THAT. In case you're too burned out to get it, I was being sarcastic. You're ignorant. Seriously. Anything made from lye, starter fluid, math strikers and battery lithium is not healthy. You don't think you're going to develop health problems? You will. First it will be your lungs. You'll start hacking up brownish red stuff. Then (if you snort it like I did) you'll have a lifetime of colosteomas to deal with. Along with deteriorated sinuses. Then, you'll notice you shake uncontrollably even when you're not tweaked. That is your central nervous system that you are damaging. Then from where you are putting poisons in your body, it will come out thru your pores and then you get these nasty little sores that get infected. And lets not forget the heart problems. You see, everytime you do speed, your heart rate picks up. When it does that, the valves in your heart dialate. So if you're doing meth everyday, you're basically training your heat valves to stay dialated which will eventually lead to a heart attack. Or at the very least a weak heart. About 30 years ago, cops would dismantle these labs without Hazmat suits, within 15 years, they had died from cancer. And that was just from breathing in the residual fumes. Imagine whats going to happen to you & I.

I mighy very well be insane. That's a very distinctive possibility... However, I'm amused that because I said something you disagree with, you assume I'm also a drug user. I haven't done meth, cocaine, heroine, extacy, or anything, really. I'm the oddball out that actually likes their life. Topix is becoming the place to look for angry offended people to anger and offend even more. Wasn't deliberate, I'll have you know.

A drug is a mind altering substance. It doesn't matter how minor or overpowering the effects are. Everything from illegal street drugs to your morning coffee alters your mind... And saying you drink coffee or tea for the taste is probably close to 90% false anyway... If you liked tea, you wouldn't need sugar or honey... And if you liked coffee, you wouldn't need milk or cream...
Mire people are addicted to fast food in this country than meth. I'm not defending the drug- the drug is evil- the people, however, are not. Now, if you could get an IV of strait caffeine, I bet all the money in my wallet that you'd love it so much, you'd be addicted to it.
And who in this day and age (besides those of us with alternative medicines or a high pain tolerance) doesn't take a pain reliever a day? Your back hurts, your feet hurt, you have a headache.... Well, did you know you can fix ALL of these problems with a little every day TLC.
-kill the addiction to soda
-pack a lunch, forget fast food exists.(even their salads are poison.)
-drink a gallon+ of water a day.
-stop letting your enviroment have control of your emotions (a perfect example is Ikit)
-eat more fruit and veggies
-yoga <3

Massage therapy helps too. But your workplace is either concrete floors with tile, a rug- if you're lucky, and you have to stand most of the day; or, a desk job where you sit all day getting deep vein thrombosis and a severe misalignment in your hips, spine, and shoulders and possibly carpel tunnel.

But if you want to assume that drinking your caffeinated tea or coffee won't kill you in the long run, no skin off my back. I warned you. Diet sodas cause cancer, regular soda rots your teeth and is used to clean corrosion off of car batteries... And you people are drinking it?!

What about alcohol? Would you stand by your ignorance and refuse to accept that legal alcohol is a mind altering substance...
Even hormone changes could be considered "drugs" because it changes the mind...

And as for your comment about tea being nothing like meth because it doesn't rip apart families, I understand where you're coming from, but I've seen families ripped apart for less.

I had smoked Meth not even a handful of times, yeah it was like the best feeling in the world, but I realized that it's stupid. You lose so much respect from ur family, you don't realize what you are doing. And before I had ever tried meth I found out that my boyfriend at the time was on it for 8 months. Not cool. Reason being he didn't do it around me cause he was hiding it so therefore he always got mad, he became abusive. And he literally beat the shit out me and his drug addiction was a big cause of it. Cause you don't realize what ur doing when u don't have it and/or what you would do if you couldn't get it. You go crazy because if the addiction. Truthfully, it's a waste of money and a horrible addiction. I'm not preaching by all means, nor being a hypocrite because I have tried it. But please if you are on meth, try to find help for yourself, you're family, and ( if you have kids) your kids. They deserve to keep you around, so do you.

too bad i did meth for a few years still got all my teeth still hot as hell... When i was done i sat it down... Simple I grew out of it... I no longer do drugs of any kind however i think getting high is a fun thing to do a stress relief and an excellent way to expand your mind. Marijuana should be legal and other drugs at best should be decriminalized such as misdemeanor with little to no jail time and a fine... And I'm christian too... Did you know King Solomon smoked weed???

Meth is a retard drug...mostly retards use it & even end up looking like a retard. It ruins your life, your body, & facial features. So all you retards that think you're cool, would you tip up a bottle of Ajax?! If you did, you probably wouldn't live to tell about it. I smoke weed. I've tried cocaine, shrooms, pills, paint, duster, & even been around meth numerous times..Marijuana is safest of all drugs. LEGALIZE THE SHIT ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!
But meth, yeah that drug & all the users can rot in hell..or drown in that bottle of Ajax!!
