letting go two workers because they became pregnant before marriage, letting good teachers go because they dont fit the new "direction" of the school...via certified letter while on vacation, three days after christimas. this is a non profit, which meens they are the church or "church" as i like to say. are we as believers the salt of the earth? it doesnt sound like it to me? if this is a non profit ministry, who do they minister to? its not a ministry....its a religious reducation camp! i am so sick of religion, and religious attitudes....you know nothing about the bible!

Good for them! Teachers should be role models. There was a time (not too long ago) that this would have happened in the public school system. That was before americas moral compass broke. Now teenage pregnancy, premarital sex, homosexuality, and all other perversions are crammed down our throats in the name of tolerance. Great job eca for holding a standard of morality. If i had kids at home i would enroll them tomorrow!

You believe in a talking snake and that some guy died to "forgive our sins." Where do you have any ground to talk about anyone else making sense? You can't even sort obvious bullshit from fact.

No, i do believe in Christ, i simply dont buy into all the pagan influence and catholic induced traditions of the "church". Martin Luther said it best-"i put no stock in religion, for by the use of religion i have seen the lunacy of every denomination be called the will of god. " Then he went on to become exactly that. Ironic right.

hey fucknuts what part wast religious? Teen pregnancy, having children out of wedlock those are very common occurrences in today society. While I don't agree with teen pregnancy to condemn a woman having a child out of wedlock is just plain silly. Not to mention judging homosexuals. While it may condemn it in the bible it also says something about judging others. What gives ANYONE the right to judge another person????

Look dickhead, ill say it AGAIN because obviously you are either hooked on phonics or stuck on stupid. I am not making a religious argument. I am drawing a comparison between the incomprehensible lack of morality that has plagued us as a country compared to just 40 years ago. When men worked and supported their wives ( not baby mommas) and wives raised their children with values and morals. When pregnant teens went "away" for the summer to visit an aunt so they didn't shame the family. And when men knew that a vagina was for sex and an anus was for the expulsion of fecal waste. When one man could make enough to support a family and the crime rate was low enough that we didnt have overcrowded prisons. But if you want to continue to make it religious, by all means i dont think it is a coincidence that as americans denied religion the influence of immorality grew.

i like that name i used. thanks. i'm curious if you think it's okay for men to want to use the anus of women? i just never thought that was right either. now, let's get back on the topic of "how" the situation was handled. GUTLESS!!! Certified mail over the break? Seriously? I'm also just curious if the JOB PERFORMANCE of the ones dismissed was just okay, outstanding, or lacking. Personal life and job performance are two different thing.

No sos, i dont think its right for women either. Just the health issues caused alone are enough to say its not normal. But it adds even more repulsiveness when men lust after men and yes, ehen women lust after women. And i do get the gutless point. As employers they should have at least gave them face to face courtesy. And it would be tempting to suppose that there is more to the situation. Ive always been told that there are three sides to every story, your side, their side, and the right side. We may never know but gor whatever reason, their employer chose to end their at will employment and that is certainly their perogative. I wish them the best in their future endeavors, sincerely i do. My point is not to bash them, im merely saying this; christian parents pay large amounts of tuition to provide their children an environment that is conducive for their spiritual growth. They dont want them exposed to the same things that the public school system provides. Teachers are fundamental role models. If you are in the position of teacher in a christian school, you should hold yourself to their principles, or at least not be surprised when you are not retained after showing behavior that is contrary to what is expected. Again, not a religious argument, but common sense.
