Is AGI a good place to work? Good benefits? Good pay? Good people? Do you get your work hours weekly? Is there overtime? Do they lay people off frequently? Are they expanding? Are they hiring?
Not Sure

Everyone I have talked to, has said that they get rid of people very quickly, and that they weren't treated very well. Take it for what it's worth.

I heard that the hours are hard, the work is hard, you have to keep up, no call-ins, or they'll let you go quick. Pretty much the same as the other factories.

Thanks for the input. Agi is air conditioned - right? So, would AGI or Akebono be a better place to work?

What's so bad about AGI? Do you think Akebono would be a better place to work?

I worked at Akebono for over fourteen years and as far as pay and benefits, it's a good job. Did I love it? No. Did I appreciate having a steady job? Yes. You work very hard with a lot of overtime. I would still be there now if something better hadn't come along. If you are willing to put in the hours and can stand the heat, it is a good job to have.

just be glad to have a job in that field in this economy. While your complaining about the heat and overtime there are lots of ppl out there unemployed losing their homes and unable to find work anywhere. Everyone needs to complain sometimes but try to remember that your really lucky to have a job.
