Who is the provider for Straight Talk? I've heard AT&T which I have always had great coverage, but it is just too expensive.

I think its at&t which is expensive I think thats why they came up with straight talk, my son has 2 phones with att and the bill for talk text and a few bytes for internet is 170.00 a month. rediculous!!! I hear you can use your current phones with the straight talk if you have them unlocked? I would like toknow for sure if you can.

You can you just have to buy a new SIM card. I have looked into it too because I am paying a fortune right now. I just don't think I can buy out my contract right now. Does anyone know how much it costs to get out of your contract with AT&T?
